they have at least 2 studios, one here in the USA,one in Canada, and their HQ is in Paris,France. They have a lot of people in each studio so no worrys
So we know that the multiplayer update is coming, but has anyone thought about how online multiplayer will actually work? I mean most of the maps are pretty linear (maybe with the hospital map as an exception), but I don't see how online multiplayer is going to work with the current maps. If they do chose to use the existing maps for online multiplayer, then it will just fail. Running in a group along the map until you reach the other group, then you either have the option of returning fire, or running back where you came from? The maps need to have multiple paths and not be linear, otherwise the multiplayer will be broken.
the maps, just like any other FPS will most likely be the maps used in campaign mode but modified (walls taken out, only some of the map etc.)
They would have to completely redesign new maps, as the can's just 'take out walls'. The linear maps are linear full stop. I think they will probably design some maps using the existing wall textures, features and objects. I just hope the maps are varied enough and are like the maps from Counter Strike: Source, where you have rooftops, stairs, multiple levels, sniping points, camping points etc. Hopefully the maps won't just be plain, boring tunnels like the maps in iFPS, Nex etc.
