Hey Guys! I wanted to give you all the heads up, that on Monday we are going to raise the price for both MQ1 & 2 in the iOS store to $6.99, and $7.99 respectfully. Download now to get these titles for free, and all future updates MQ1 https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mazequest-an-adventure-rpg/id1180350771?mt=8 MQ2 https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mazequest-2/id1348128304?ls=1&mt=8 Me and Chris have concluded the beta testing and fixed every last bug/typo/hair out of place we could find. Neither game has a single reported crash. MQ1 has a 4.9 overall user rating! Special thanks for Stubbieoz for helping us with MQ2 Have a great weekend -Will
And also thanks to Nyanpass for starting spreading the word about the MQ games! Connecting with the players has made MQ2 what it is - a throwback to the classic 90s RPG. But the evolution is not over - we will continue to patch and iterate as we go based on feedback. Go get the game before today while it’s still free Will
You and Chris are most welcome, though I hardly did much as the game was pretty polished from the beginning of the beta. It’s a fun game to play and you guys are really trying your best to make it something special, which it already is). I hope it will be a financial success but it’s a tough market. I will try to help get people aware of it at least.
Hey guys! My name is Will Orr, and I'm one of the developers of this game. I wanted to introduce it to you all by doing a rudimentary walkthrough of how to play the game. Any questions I will be happy to answer... You start the game with the option to pick between 6 different character classes. SOLDIER High Defense, Strength, and Health. The Soldier comes equipped with a spear, which allows him to attack one full "hex" square away from an enemy in combat, versus a sword, where he would have to be directly next to an opponent. Combat is turn based, and speed factors into who gets the first turn. Below, against this Goblin I've put my Paladin in front with a sword, to protect my soldier while he can still reach out and attack. To be continued... Amazon Good Defense, Strength, and Magic. The Amazon is a cross between a Soldier and a Mage, she likes to have a bladed weapon and be in close combat, but she is a competent spellcaster.
I'm interested in this game too much Edit: obviously this game is my type but all the prono codes have been redeemed spending $7.99 is risky. hmm... I'm out...
Solarna, your right - $7.99 is quite a stretch from a developer you've never heard of. Let me do this. We're now giving away the first game for free. I personally still love the first game alot - it was much simpler in alot of respects, like, you cant choose your starting difficulty, you have only 4 starting character options, and the combat is alot different. But it is a full game with no ads. It took us over a year to make. Try the game out, and if you like it, you will LOVE MazeQuest 2. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mazequest-an-adventure-rpg/id1180350771 PS - If you like MQ1, and would like a free promo code for MQ2, please visit and rate us on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mazequestRPG/ Cheers -Will
Ninja Good Speed, Agility, and Magic. The Ninja is a fast spellcaster. He prefers to attack at distance, and usually because of his speed, he attacks first. His high agility helps him dodge attacks, and also increases his chance to hit with ranged weapons like ninja stars and bows. He will also have a tendency to learn lockpicking, and offensive magic spells like Bolt and Lightning.
Thank you for replying. I tried MQ1 and exactly it was my type! I beat cities bandits but once I'm going out from the town, I have been killed sadly I didn't save game so I lost progress but I will play again&more! MQ2 is more polished? I've rated(liked) your facebook game's page
Mage Strong Offensive Magic, comes with Bolt Spell The Mage specializes in offensive magic. Offensive spells in MazeQuest have many different spread patterns, and some are specific to being useful against certain foes on certain levels. This is the subject of a whole other series that I need to write... The Mage is best if you keep him off of the front lines - as his low health and light armor provide little protection against melee. The advantage of having a spellcaster in your group is spells don't EVER miss, unlike melee attacks. So if your fighting an enemy with a high agility rating, and your swinging and missing alot - throw an attack spell that is sure to hit every time! Almost there - 2 more to go... Druid, and Archer! In the meantime, Mazequest 1 is now FREE, so go ahead and download that here... https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mazequest-an-adventure-rpg/id1180350771 And if you like our Facebook page - I'll send you a promo code for MQ2! https://www.facebook.com/mazequestRPG/ -Will
Druid The Druid is a spell caster that comes with a special skill - Shapeshift. During combat, the Druid can turn into a werewolf, and essentially your magic points become your health, and when they run out - you shift back. As a werewolf, your speed, strength, and range of movement are boosted - in order for you to get close and take a swipe at your enemies. She also gets the ability to learn the bolt spell early, as well as resistance to spells cast upon her. The Druid is equipped like a mage, with a staff and light armor.

Archer The Archer is known for his speed and agility, and proficiency with ranged weapons. In the game, you have the opportunity to equip each hand of your character. The Archer comes with a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. You can mix and match a bow of one level, and an arrow of another - If you don’t have the money to buy both at once. The Archer also sas the ability to learn Aim and Luck early. And that wraps it up on the starting characters. There are six total. The Amazon, Soldier, Ninja, Mage, Druid, and Archer. Any questions or comments I would love to read them here, or email us [email protected] -Will
