Nice tribute to 90's arcade cabinets on the first screen!

Guess I'll put up some suggestions of my own:

    1) Multiplayer - either Co-op or PvP would be great
    2) More items, pets and skills
    3) An option to change movement between how it is now and using a d-pad
    4) A store with items that change after each level would be nice, but I really like the slot machine even if I don't win each time I pay 7k gold
    5) Shared inventory, on this it might not be such a great idea, as I have a few legendary (orange/gold bg) items and could easily get my low lvl people excellent gear, giving a bit of an unfair advantage to them :|

Hi, is there limited inventory slots? requiring IAP to get more?

The game has unlimited inventory, if your inventory gets full it will just add another 'bag' to your character (so no need for any IAP bag buying)

Anyone beaten the dragon yet. I can barely scratch him before he obliterates me...

Suggestion: A block button even if only blocks only a part of the damage. Scar is a pain to take on even with my "seemingly" overpowered Frank :p

A block would be nice. "Seemingly overpowered Frank" lol, that's about as accurate as my "Undying Alyssa"

I beat the dragon easy with the first guy by just using his special spinning uppercut move. Just dodge his fire breath then chop away.

Just to clarify, I mean the big dragon :p
Part of the problem is that there's no vertical space so you can't really dodge much. Granted I've just recently unlocked him, but my guy has only 4 more leveling skills to earn and has only two attribute upgrades left available, and that dragon just owns me.

On another note, where do you ding pets? I haven't seen a single one yet.

Edit: btw that first little dragon is your best friend in boss vs boss. He destroys many of the top rated bosses, with a win vs Mr Bison for instance paying out 7X.

Scar is insanely hard, even with Alyssa healing herself every now and then with her magic nova. And I have her at lvl 23 (all skills) and quite a heavy hitter with a bunch of high-level gear.

Pets are dropped at about the same rate as gear is, I've found 4 or 5 and won a lot from the slot machine. So far the best are the dragon, chicken, and the burger. The dragon deals ranged fireballs, the chicken is a pretty strong attack, and the burger heals you.

I need to try that slot machine again. I had a bad run of luck and gave up on it. I've been spending all my money on maxing attributes but I'm almost done that. I also think that I'm gonna buy some gold to support the dev since at this point I've nearly completed the game and did so rather easily for free :) So far I've gotten a ton a weapons (1 gold) and a few armors and trinkets (1 purple), but not a single pet.

Ill just quickly chip in and say for Scar, the effort to kill him doesn't go unrewarded :)

All this talk really firing me up to do more content and improving the game... it's going to have to be Multiplayer coop r&d first and it's hard to estimate the release date on that but we will be trying hard to get it on the game as an update (*and then some new maps , further bosses and stuff that goes with it)

Ok, the gold weapons I've found are:

The harbinger - a purple color 1h sword, chain crit ability ie. when I get a crit it creates this "black hole" thing that deals damage to other enemies, stats are +5, +1, -1, 0 (this is what I currently use)

    The Sawblade - it's a Sawblade, literally, no special ability, stats are +3, 0, 0, +3

    Maximus - a cutlass-like 1h sword, no special ability, stats are +2, +2, +2, 0

Razor - a pair of Sai knives, no special ability, stats are +1 0, +3, +2

Sword of Oracles - a short sword, special ability calls lightning down when crit, can't remember the stats bc I didn't use it for very long and accidentally sold it :(

lol touche! Yah well that fat bastard stole my heart, and he's supposda be overpowered (I'd like to think his 20 attack power means more, but alas, not quite). Honestly, I haven't traded him in for anyone else yet either, though I wasn't impressed with the low leveled decoy on the rogue lookin dude.

This will easily be one of those games that's staying on my iphone for a long time. By far the best bathroom break game I have for class.

Oh yah, I have the monkey (bear?) who drops mini boulders like the bear boss, the blob who circles you, and the owl (he throws an egg everyonce in a while... yay...) for the pets ive found. I like the blob to use during the bear boss fight since he can get you out of the boss's grasp by running into him.

Another suggestion may be being able to level/evolve pets or have more than 1? Could also make it so you can breed them. Don't know how much you want to evolve this game, S-mario, but I think it could be even more awesome!

This game definitely deserved at least a place in the top 3 GOTW thread. I played toon shooter to hell even before it was an iphone app and that was awesome as well.

I've just defeated Scar twice using Frank (level 17), it wasn't really that tough after all.
It took me at least 10 attempts to figure out how to dodge his fire breaths and boulders.
I must admit that the drops are indeed very rewarding :p!
    I got The Harbinger(darkness infused)- 5/1/-1/0
    Dragon Blaze(fire infused)- 0/0/3/2
Both are gold equipments by the way :)

For those of you who are wondering, The Harbinger is a two-handed weapon that looks like the weapon Kassadin(League of Legends) is using.
