Just curious, how does this compare to gameloft's 9mm? I really liked that game so I'm curious as to how the original made the jump to ios

Ohhhhhh hell yeah! I can't wait to get some Max Payne action on my pad :D. Magnificent game in the PC and I'm eagerly awaiting #3, so if this port is anything like the quality Rockstar gave us with GTA3 then I guess I'm in for a treat :D

I've just downloaded and installed this game and when I open it there's just a blank screen, this is on the new iPad. Is anyone else having this issue?

Never tried this game back in the day, it was too actiony for my tastes so im actually excited of experiencing it for the first time on the iPad!

Gameplay is similar, but Max Payne has much better designed levels, much better implementation of bullet time, much better narrative and characters, much more atmosphere, etc. In other words, it's a much better game.

Holy crap. Didn't even notice the huge app size. Damn, probably going to hold off on this.

Anyone fiddle with the files yet to see if you can mod it similar to how you can mod GTA with the pc mods?

Sooo, anybody played it yet? I still have to wait half an hour. I'm really interested in how the aiming works on touch screen. I really hope you can pull of those diving slo-mo headshots with ease.

It seems like it could work well, apart from the fact that you have to remove your thumb from the aim to shoot.

So, since this game supports the 3GS, I'm thinking it supports the iPod Touch 3rd gen right?

Is there only a level skip cheat, I can't find the others?

OMG the original Max Payne, I even remember his face!
Back in the day this one was the best third person shooter available, great atmosphere, great graphics, great story... nothing to lose buying this jewel.
