J'ai lu que le jeu est intégralement en français.
Peut-on avoir les voix anglaises dans les options du jeu?

Saw that on the game description: "For optimal performance, we recommend re-booting your device after downloading and closing other applications when playing Max Payne Mobile." :/

Do iPad2 players have to do so too?

It improved performance on my iPhone 4S, so I would say yes.

Not necessarily, but it's always the first thing you should try, if a game crash on startup or hangs in the intro.

It's to free the memory on your device.
iOS doesn't always do that due to the unique way multitasking works on iOS devices.

That goes for iPad 2 also.

The game conversion is quit good but there are many things missed! For example when I shoot to dollars, they don't fly like pc version. The shadow are missing and textures are inferior to pc version. Iphone4s can handle games more complex than this! Also the bullet in the sniper rifle is missing!

The textures are actually the same -- the kind of suck by today's PC standards. They also kept some of the destructible environment (for example, you can shoot up the TV sets and glass bottles). Most of the random interactivity is there, too: faucets work, toilets work, soda machines dispense cans -- which you can shoot). It should also be noted that this is the first iOS action game to use ragdoll physics for dead bodies (which looks awesome on explosions).

Not sure what you mean by "the bullet in the sniper rifle is missing." I get a bullet cam on my iPhone 4s.

the textures are quite far away from the PC version, you can tell by the enemies textures, they are lower than max's.

and there is no ragdoll physics in this game, there was not on the original PC version what are you talking about? there are no physics in this game, and it would not be the first to use them if that was the case.

Look everyone is entitled to their opinion but mine is anyone complaining about this game is ridiculous. This is on a TELEPHONE. 4 years ago we were playing SNAKE. Now to be able to play a pretty damn good version of Max Payne is remarkable. Its never gonna be perfect. Someone will always complain about SOMETHING. Touch controls will always have their limitations but $3 freaking dollars for a $60 game on XBox. Guys, this is awesome. Bring on MAx Payne 2 and Vice City etc.

Please dont call me ridiculous, it offends me, and again, it has been proven that touch controls can be perfect, its not because of technical limitations that the controls are not perfect, its because of design decision.

and if everybody is entitled to their own opinion, why cry about it when someone disagrees? lol

Oh cool, Max Payne! I didn't know this was coming to ios. Well this is what I get for staying out of the loop for awhile.

So everything intact like the pc/Xbox versions? Or did they have to strip and take things away from each level to make it work on the device like the lame Playstation 2 version?

It's the best thing ever, it looks better than the original pc version with nothing missing and the controls are perfect......

    No...wait.....

It's an awefull conversion with blocky horrible textures, the controls are terrible causing Max Payne to stumble about like a drunk Welsh girl on her Cardiff hen night.

Gah, I'm confused about the whole thing now!

Is it just me or did they remove the crying baby during the incredibly frustrating blood trail level? I'm SO glad they got rid of it. I also died a few times during that part and each time it gave me the option to skip the rest of the level. They definitely took the time to polish this port. Nothing at all like the lame PS2 version (not that there was much anyone could do given the hardware).

Thats too bad. I thought maybe it would look great at least on the iPad 3. Maybe by the time the iPad 4 comes out we'll have hardware that can really take punishment

Hmmmm, I'm on the fence about this now :(

Ok, how many years left until we can get past the novelty of "OMG OMG THIS IS RUNNING ON MY PHONE!" and actually criticise things from an objective point of view? How can we form any sort of standards if people continue with this mumbo jumbo about games on their phones?

Yes, your phone can run fully fledged 3D games now. Get over it. It shouldn't be a big deal anymore.
