cloud save would be cool for a game like this and GTA3. but i sense that wont happen. wish devs would use this feature more
Is this game really easier compared to the ps2 version after watching some videos it dosent look to hard..
You need to play on "Normal" (easy, really) on the first playthrough. That was also true of the PC version. If you already know the game, Normal is not much of a challenge (since you know where all the enemies are hiding).
I had a crap TV so for me they are. Lol. Can't comment on the PC version but the reviews said the PS2 graphics were much worse than that. I played this on a G4 iBook back in the day and the iPad definitely version looks much better than that.
So, just finished the first chapter and I am impressed by the story, voice acting The only think I didn't like is the graphics are terrible but it doesn't bother me at all. Screen orientation and lack of icloud saving are minor things that i am sure will get updates in the near feature. I played it last night around midnight and I got spooked for some reason It's a 5/5 for me.
New to Max Payne, but to me on iPad 2 And iPhone 4s, it looks awesome. I agree, no shadows and polygons are low but the detail, a fan behind a grill on a wall in the subway spinning away, that's just better than any gameloft painted on background, and I'm not a gameloft hater as I have about 40 of their games. Atmosphere is brilliant too. Just so cliched and entertaining. Quick question about the cheats option in the menu. Is it only to skip level, essentially a level select option, or are there actual cheats that can be done? And how if possible?
Just in relation to the long loading or black screen for ages before the remedy logo shows up, it had a very slow start on both my devices, but once it kicked off the first time it loaded very quickly every time after that. So basically, just wait it out the first time and it won't happen again.

I gave in (for $3 it's hard not too) and am enjoying it but may move over to my iPad. On the iPhone the aiming reticle is 1 pixel, it's soooooo tiny I have a hard time hitting anything, had to lower the sensitivity a bit too.
I thought ALL of the PC cheats were supposed to work. How do you access the others, rather than just level skip?
Any Starbuck's in Spain, for example, but you are right: coffees are cheaper in general. In Spain they are around $1.80 or so.
I wish the devs were here to take feedback, because Max Payne Mobile controls have one crucial flaw that is very easy to fix.
