I have not got enough money to afford that combination. But, I managed to get into 3rd place using only the spread shot, health, and speedup... So, not too bad. Gotta earn more money for the ultimate combo, and then hope for a couple of sweet health spawns for the when the action becomes overwhelming... Once the game comes out, I have a feeling, our records will be falling to obscurity pretty quickly..
lol thank god lol cr]congratulate keith. 2.99 *drinks coffee* ppphhtthhppp what?!!!! lol its nice to see people already swapping notes on their favorite weapons and stuff. i cant wait
I'd say $0.99 cents intro price then $2.99 regular price. I mean Age of Zombies was 2.99 and this seems to have a lot more content.
Playing Max Adventure on our projector using the iPhone 4 as a controller Definitely going to have to include this in version 1.1. It's SO much fun on the big screen. Even pulled the camera out a bit so you can see more of the neighborhood while playing. What do you guys think, worth including in our first update? -Keith
I see. How would it work out? Do we just use some sort of cable to connect the iPhone to any projector?
It works like this: 1) You need the 40pin ipod connector -> VGA Cable 2) You attach the iPod / iPhone / or iPad to your TV, projector, or monitor using the VGA cable 3) The game recognizes that there is an external monitor hooked up and uses that to display the game while playing. 4) You use two thumb sticks on the iOS device to control the action. It actually works remarkably well. Butter smooth frame rate on the TV at 1024x768 resolution. -Keith
That sounds so freakin' awesome!!!! I love it!!! Seriously, that is an awesome feature. Totally awesome. By the way, where would one find a cable like that?
Apple sells the cable here: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC552ZM/A There also may be 3rd party cables that are cheaper, but this is what I'm using. Oh, and you need a long normal VGA cable to reach your TV
I am getting to like the idea of playing games using the iPhone/iPod/iPad as a controller. I don't think i would use it because I don't have the cord, but might invest in one if this sort of gaming catches on. Hopefully more games will come out with this functionality. . Really looking forward to the game btw. I think $1.99 - $2.99 would be a good price point. Not $0.99 though. However it al depends on how much content the game has.
It's definitely not something that most people will use, but it's darn cool if you ever get a chance to try it out! We don't have any plans for online multiplayer at this time, but who knows the future is wide open... Glad you are looking forward to the game! To be honest, I thought playing on the big screen would be just kinda ok. It took me about an hour of coding effort to get something working / playable, which I thought I'd try just out of curiosity. It turned out about a million times cooler than I expected. I spent the next hour or so playing Max Adventure on our big screen, and then the next day polishing everything up It's super cool if you get a chance to try it out.
Would it be possible to connect the game to a TV instead of a projector? That would make the feature a lot more accessible to people.
Oh yes, absolutely. Our TV is a projector, so we used what we have. It will connect to any TV / Monitor / Projector that has a VGA input (a lot of TVs do have VGA inputs these days).
Then I will definitely be making use of the feature if you decide to include it in a future update. Thanks for clarifying.
