good to hear, you don't rush the game into the appstore. Can't wait to see what the game looks and feels like.
I am about 99 percent sure that it's gonna just be me who didn't test this game on TA. It's cool though. I'm special. Btw, Is there anything special you are going back and editing? Music? Sound? Gameplay?
A few things we're planning on going back and editing: 1) Music / Sound - These were obviously very rough in the beta as we mentioned. They will be finalized before the next beta. 2) Achievements / Leaderboards - We didn't have Game Center in the last release. We'll be adding that in for the next. 3) Powerups / Bonus Items - More types, more often. We're probably also going to change the way you use bonus items. Instead of having them get used as soon as you pick them up, you'll be able to trigger when to use them. A bit like bonus items are handled in Mario Kart, where you can only hold on to one bonus item at a time. 4) Aliens - More types. We've got 4 more alien types were planning on adding 5) Difficulty curve - There are a few levels that people thought were too, easy or too hard. So we're trying to smooth out the difficulty curve a bit. Stay tuned! -Keith
sounds great! and yeah theres a lot of dss games coming out that will hold stiff competition to max adventure. minigore episode 4 will have multiplayer, tons of new charecters, and a zombie map. halfbricks zombie games coming. revolts finishing up now too and is in beta testing stage also. and that bug game. still i think max adventure will rise up.
I think there is plenty of room for all the DSS. Each one has their own unique things that they are doing, and that's cool. It's a good time to be a DSS fan!
I love dual-stick shooters. Also, about the difficulty curve - it might be a good idea to make the standard Easy/Normal/Hard modes if you haven't done so already.
yeah dss games are great. and they do run especially grear on the iphone. i cant wait for all those titles they all sound really good but max adventure is definitly gonna be a big one for me. btw can we have a price estimate? i can see this being 3 bucks and sales of 2 and 1 bucks. also still waiting on that vid.
