Ahhhhh, forgot promos don't work outside U.S. That sucks! Well in that case, Dogmeat is reviewing every pinball game in the app store right now (and doing a damn fine job) so maybe a little promo love for him is justified?? Yes, do that! ^^^^^^The more the merrier!!! Well I finally checked out the video when I got home, and I got to tell you this game looks FUN!!! I love all the different monster themes, and all the tables seem very unique. It doesn't seem like your typical "realistic" pinball, it seems like there's some fantasy elements going on but at the same time the ball physics seem to react quite realistically. And it seems super fast!! Overall this game looks amazing, and the graphics are AWESOME! Glad you guys are uploading a new vid, I'll check that one out later as well. Great job so far I'm very ANXIOUS to play this!!!!
I've been playing for two months and still can't complete all the goals. Just waiting for Youtube. Think I will go to the pub for an hour. hopefully will be done when I return. We made TA front page Thanks to who put us their. Much appreciated.
Saw this thread first and watched video..yuck. Then went to frontpage and saw the beautiful screenshots. Yes please do try to get a better video if at all possible. Video isn't doing this game justice.
The moment you have all been waiting for... No its not live on the app store but we have a much better quality video on youtube. Its a quick demo of all the tables in action. Let me know what you think.
Heres what I think: AWESOME!!! Seriously, the gameplay looks so fast, balls glowing, pieces animating, going from table to table. I really think we're going to have a lot of fun with this one. Now for it to come out
Thanks Yeh it's fast, but it is much faster on the iPhone or iPod touch as the simulator footage capture was at a low frame rate. I think you are going to love this game. Hurry up Apple
I love how all of the tables are so interconnected, just a ramp away and BOOM it's a totally different table. Sure in FB they had little secret extra tables but in this, during a single ball you might travel across three or more of the tables that all have pretty unique themes and objectives. VERY NICE! I even loved that last bit with, "Available in June...or May if we're lucky."
this is all but a "real" pinball game. certainly designed for the younger audience.........action, color, sound effects. i'm more into a single table with nice features and goals, which you have to know by heart.
Wow, this is not what I was expecting. Your tables looked a bit empty and repetitive, but from the video it looks like you've managed to put a whole new spin on mobile pinball games! The pace is incredible, and jumping from one table to the next turns the game on its head, it's like a pinball but SOO different at the same time. Others have tried to bring something new to the genre, but this is a leap forward. Of all the other pinballs I only really love WWP for being beautifully simple and working so well, it's just very enjoyable. But this doesn't pretend to be a funky new pinball game like others have done, it takes the pinball, the flippers, the idea of a table, and then reinvents the game and what is fun about it. The pace, music, those sound effects, they'll probably drive me insane after a while but I'm very impressed. Sale!
Thanks for your review. Younger audience, you must be joking I'm 36 and cannot stop playing. Each table has many amazing features, the trick is to try and stay on a table and achieve all the goals before you shoot off on another mission. We have taken the best bits of traditional pinball and injected them with digital fun. I think it works. All our testers can't stop playing. We getting really good feedback. We have been testing for 3 months and constantly improving the gameplay. Hurry up Apple
Yeah, I'm interested but this might be a bit more on the FB side as opposed to a REAL wood and metal machine that something like WWP was emulating.
I'm very much anticipating this game, but I'm sure the fact that you made the game is a pretty good reason why you can't stop playing it.
So, answer me this, as long as I'm still on the same ball, will all of the work I've done on a table remain in effect if I happen to make my way back to it (like say I've dropped 2 of a bank of 3 drop targets) or is everything reset on that table as soon as you enter another one?
Yes all work on the table will stay if you go back to it after leaving. It will not reset at any point (except 'game over' or completion of bonus). Freeballs are available on all tables. There is a lot to discover and I do not want to give to much away
Fair comment, but we have had loads of people give us really good feedback. We got all our testers to play/test all the other pinball games as well as our own. Wait and see...
Well I'm a believer, just based off screenshots and the video I'm really excited for this one! I don't really agree that this seems like a kiddie game or anything, I mean to each their own, but I love games from Gears of War to Animal Crossing (hrmmm, that would be a great cross IP game!). In fact, one of the greatest benefits of playing video games to me is it has the ability to make me feel like a kid again, so sometimes the more "kiddie" like games are a good thing. And then you just go chainsaw somebody in half to get your testosterone levels back up Either way, this game just looks downright fun! And that should be what's most important! Great stuff, can't wait!!
I'm looking forward to this, although I still want to see someone put out a really fun pinball game that's more authentic but fun like the Space Cadet 3D board that comes with WindowsXP. That game has a lot going on on the playfield and no really lame gutter outs. I like a board that's busy and gives you the impression of success because you're always racking up a lot of points and the ball interacts with a lot of things on the field before it ends up down at your flippers again. imho Freeballin's maps are sparse and WWP has cheap outs. And Freeballin's feel isn't quite right either. I have those two and I still want for a good pinball game. I don't expect Monster Pinball to be authentic but it does look like it could be fun anyway and i might pick it up if/when it gets cheap enough (no idea what the launch price will be). also i am glad to see you fit the boards on the screen without needing to move the camera.
