If it wasn't freemium I'd try it. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 2 0 Norwich, England #6 PeteOzzy, Jun 25, 2014 Atelier Annie? At least it reminds me of the Atelier series which is one of my absolute favourite series of all time. Hoping it's pretty decent, despite the initial negativity, this could be really nice. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 2 0 Norwich, England #9 PeteOzzy, Jun 25, 2014 It is actually screenshots of the gameplay - it's more of a management sim; creating equipment for the automated heroes, ordering in basic ingredients and then combining them to make a profit. Kind of like Merchants to the Stars mixed with a Kairosoft game. I'm enjoying it so far, but it has a lot of the facets of a F2P game (obviously) so the people that won't enjoy it probably know who they are already. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,179 741 113 #10 ste86uk, Jun 25, 2014 I do like merchant and management games and wish there were more of them. I'll be taking a look at this. 4 games this week I'm interested in now. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 2 0 Norwich, England #11 PeteOzzy, Jun 25, 2014 Just got to the point where there are actually some battles, but in keeping with the genre you just watch most of the action. You activate certain skills but aside from that it's a solid merchant management game. Really quite impressed with this for free - yes there are timers, but currently we're talking 6 second timers with the ability to do plenty whilst they're going down. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,179 741 113 #12 ste86uk, Jun 25, 2014 Yeh I seen the bit about battles, I guess that's just seeing your gear go to use? So the better gear you produce the better the heroes can do in battle or something like that? How is it graphics wise? Doesn't look terrible from the pics. Can anyone check for me? Aside from that, the game looks fairly good. The heroes look cool. I don't play management games but I'm willing to give this one a shot if it doesn't need a network connection. chanandler Member Apr 19, 2010 17 0 1 I am the Director of Aesthetics and Cosmicatology. Definitely a shame, would like to see more people giving this a try. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than the aforementioned F2P stuff we usually get. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 2 0 Norwich, England #17 PeteOzzy, Jun 26, 2014 It's functional. You won't want to zoom all the way in to admire the character models that's for sure but then you'll be wanting to play it from the most zoomed out option anyway. It's better than most Clash of Clans style game's visuals but it's not going to blow you away. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,378 389 83 #18 L.Lawliet, Jun 26, 2014 I appreciate you checking! You saved me a lot of time so it wasn't wasted effort If people are okay with play online apps, I say go for it. I don't trust my connections that much to have online games on my device. This week's releases are not in my favor as most are online or ios 7 ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,179 741 113 #19 ste86uk, Jun 26, 2014 Now I moved I couldn't care less about online only games I have reliable wifi now and 4G in work....the only thing my phone actually never has is phone signal at home or seemingly anywhere else but work! But anyway the game...yes I'll take a look later on still, not holding my hopes up as I have to admit I do like good graphics with a good gameplay mechanic.
