Wait a second. Castle Crashers is tons of fun but it really depends on if you plan on playing with friends or not. I have 4 wireless controllers and when we get a crowd together the first game we put on is a 4 Player game of Castle Crashers. The music is great, their are some funny moments, a large number of characters to use and unlock, lots of weapons and pets. Sure the game will get dull if you plan on playing single player over and over but where the fun comes in is when you get a crowd together and just have a blast playing it. I think it was well woth the money I paid for it but again if you don't have friends come over for couch co-op then it probably isn't worth getting. Hell, even friends or family members of mine who never even play games enjoyed jumping in with the rest of us and having fun with the game. My only complaint really is the combat can be a bit dull and the juggling can get a bit carried away.
Castlevania, Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, Trials HD, I Made a Game With Zombies in it. After those, basically anything that's on sale that appeals to you. I can't really check any recent releases or anything, but that's about all I can think of off the top of my head.
Just finished the first tour (only 4 events) and so far I'm enjoying it. It's far less serious than Trials HD in that you can practically wheelie the entire stage with zero effort and hitting the gas/brakes in the air drastically moves you forwards and backwards. It's also been insanely easy up to this point, but there seem to be about 40 events in total so there's plenty of time for it to ramp up. The event I just finished required me to get a score of 3,000,000 for the gold trophy... I got 47,427,775. Oh, there's different objectives too. Such as collecting all the stars, landing on all the targets, hitting a high score. They don't have to be done all at the same time though.
Halo: Reach or Fable 3? Leaning in Fable's direction. also, what are the top games (Other than COD 7) coming out in the autumn? (Around september is the best games schedule)
Notable (probably) upcoming games for the 360 include: Crackdown 2 Kane & Lynch 2 Mafia II Dead Rising 2 HAWX 2 Halo: Reach Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Medal of Honor F.3.A.R. Fallout: New Vegas Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Fable 3 Crysis 2 Dead Space 2 Gears of War 3 I know I've missed a few of the new IPs, but it's possible some of them might bomb, and... they're new so I've forgotten what they're called.
Tomorrow Mass Effect 2 and 1 etc. will be on sale on Steam! Today it's Mirror's Edge, Dead Space and Spore.
Exactly. I was watching the IGN review for it after I had got and played the games through about 4 times (with friends over Live), and when the guy said it was a community game, he was right on the money. It's definitely worth it. I had a blast with it the first few play throughs, and we'd always crack jokes about some part of the games or each other, and it's just fun. We don't play it that often, sometimes around every couple months or so. I don't regret getting it. Just don't play it alone. Just pre-ordered Crackdown 2 and GameStop. I really don't know why, though, the pre-order bonuses are almost never worth getting, and these even more so.
Man I wish my computer was't such a piece of crap... I can barely run Gmod at times, let alone trying to play Mirror's Edge or Dead Space.
Argh I only have 2 controllers now and I realized that it's on sale right now, at 800 instead of 1200. I heard the online community is not very active now, is that true? I was hoping to play online to make up for the loss of controllers
It really isn't. You'll usually find someone, but there's not a huge influx of players. Again, like I said before, it's not gonna be fun to play with random people you don't know. You have to play with friends or it's unbearably dull. Don't you have any other friends with the game?
Unfortunately not My friends don't really get any XBLA games for some reason. I guess they'd rather spend their money on 'proper' xbox 360 games. Oh and has anyone tried Snoopy Flying Aces? I got the trial and it's actually kinda fun hehe, and it got good reviews too.
Should I get the Mass Effect series or Super Mario Galaxy 2? I've heard nothing but good things about both of them, so it's hard to decide.
It really is apples and oranges with those two, not really comparable. It basically comes down to if you like RPGs or platformers more. As an RPG fan, obviously I'd go with Mass Effect.
Sorry late reply. Wishlist: Halo Reach Fable 3 Sadly most of those games look like shooting or fighting. I have several of those already. I'm not interested in violent bloody games. Hmm... Any to look out for kn any console apart from Wii? Like Ds, Psp, etc...
Ah, yes, Halo: Reach. That's the game where you play as an angel that helps the elderly obtain things that are just out of their grasp, right?
This autumn's releases are going to bankrupt me. Reach, AC Brotherhood, Force Unleashed 2 (depends on what they changed), Fable 3, Crysis 2, and later on Portal 2.
