Nah I was thinkin of the second oen but Ive never played it but if you loved it then by all means, go for it. nd yeah the whole co op with friends makes sense. Nd just checkin u have mw2 right?
Got it the day it came out actually. One of my most played games online, right next to Left 4 Dead which my friend and I have been playing a ton of since we both got Live.
pre-order Halo Reach at Amazon and get a $20 credit Too bad the game comes out in 6 months! I hate waiting.
Hey gamestop is havi9ng SALE from now til like mid april nd today bthe deal on the front page is Assassins creed 2 for 30 bucks. Do u think this is a sale for the whole time or just today? nd what is the game liek?
Ok... so I have about 10 bucks I could spend right now. My question is, should I get Phoenix Wright: Justice for All for Wiiware, seeing as I LOVE the first game, and what I played of JfA, or should I get Final Fantasy VII for the PSP, even though I have the game for the PS1? I'm leaning towards Phoenix Wright a bit more, since it's something I don't already have, and I'd prefer to get something new than spend that money on a port. Oh yeah, I might try to rent a game soon, but I'm not sure which one to rent. I'll probably get either Skate 3 or Lost Planet 2, if they don't have Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. I've played demos of both Skate 3 and Lost Planet 2 extensively, and I'm leaning a bit more towards Skate 3, since you can get in fights with people, the skating system is REALLY upgraded compared to Skate 1, which is all I have right now, and the missions are great. On the other hand, a couple of friends of mine have Lost Planet 2 and want more people to play the game with, and the huge amounts of content, specifically how you can play as Frank West, is really tempting. Nonetheless, I think I'm still leaning towards Skate a bit more. What do you guys think? EDIT: I just found a bag of about 12 bucks in quarters. I'm going to probably get Phoenix Wight then, and maybe get another buck or two together and get Lost Odyssey, since I need a good RPG for my 360. Then I'll trade in my Modern Warfare: Reflex since I got COD4 working on my 360, and pick up a used game or two, depending on how much I get.
I don't know somerandomdude. That's a hard choice. I might save your money up for a bigger game if I were you. I preordered prince of Persia: the forgotten sands yesterday. looks sweet. Getting it through gamestop I got a ten dollar credit, an exclusive arena mode, and free 2 day shipping. Im pumped. In two weeks though I wanna get a new game for the summer. What do you guys think sounds best? -Red Dead Redemption -Alpha Protocol -Just Cause 2 -ModNation Racers -Monster Hunter Tri There's been an explosion of great games lately! I'll let you guys know how PoP is later this week though. I'm SO pumped!
Well, seeing as I'm a huge fan of Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter Tri is definetly up there. Too bad they won't give you the demo without a preorder... I really wanted one of those demos. The demo of Just Cause 2 is AWESOME. According to my friend, it's pretty much that, but on a much bigger scale, so it's definelty worth taking a look at as well. Couldn't tell you much about Red Dead Redemption, but seeing as it will basically be GTA with cowboys, it's going to be great. I know there's one called Red Dead Revolver for the PS2, also by Rockstar, so that might be worth taking a look at to see how RDR is.
RDR is coming with free co-op dlc in a month after release. You might want to wait till then for that.
Cant say much for MN Racers, MH tri, or Alpha Protocol, but I would recommend wholeheartedly JC2 and red dead redemption. Starting with RDR, go to reddeadedmption.com and go to the videos section and watch every video even if it takes forever. I watched like 4 and I am buying the game this tuesday. In case u didnt know it has the campaign(which is missions plus free roaming), multiplpayer free roam, and multiplayer competetive modes-just watch the videos to fully understand each. But honmestly just buy the game-Gameinformer gave it a 9.75 which is the highest 360 grade in the past two years tied with mw2. Onto JC2, im actually about to go play the game right now, but I needed to convince you. The possibilities in the game are endless. nd i dont mean endless like other games say but literally ENDLESS. You could probably do almost anything u can come up with. The only problem I have with the game is I sometimes dont know what to do, not cause theres not enough but because there is so much. check out justcause2.com and you can see the incredible community and some footage. Ill edit this post in a asecoind with an incredible video link. It is definitely my highest recommended game. EDIT: ok so I couldnt find the link but here is a link to a picture of the map of the game. It is 400 square miles which equates to a little over a THOUSAND square kilometers. http://img232.imageshack.us/i/jc2paragonmap.jpg/
I got splinter cell conviction and it was Aight... it just wasnt my type of game, but im trying to get used to it. But, my bro and I LOVE red dead redemption and really want to get it. does it have 2 people on one console? and will it be worth trading in Splinter Cell
No couch co-op for RDR. Stands to reason really. I'd say it's worth trading Splinter Cell though, it's gonna be a much longer game overall.
Pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption (although it was yesterday at a Blockbuster so they can't guarantee me a game, but fingers crossed), and it's probably the only game I'm gonna need until Halo Reach comes out. Would've gotten Just Cause 2 had I not heard about it. Alpha Protocol just doesn't catch my eye, and sadly I don't have a PS3, but I have a Wii, just haven't used it in over a year. I would love to play ModNation Racers. Hopefully we'll get Trackmania... someday.
Haha you guys see what I mean? I could drop 300 bucks on games in the next month! Sadly, I only have enough for one new one until August or so. On the Just Cause 2 demo, I found a nuclear power plant and made it overload an leak radiation or something everywhere. Epic. If it had tighter controls like Uncharted 2 I'd get it for sure.
The ModNation Racers beta wasn't very fun at all. It's trying to ride the LittleBigPlanet wave of customization, but it's closer to a bad Mario Kart clone for children.
Ok, I just wasnt hooked with Splinter Cell, its not like a shooter, or a free roam, but more of a spy game. I can spy on people in my own time tho Yeah, poor Blockbuster, finally going out of business and i heard in Alpha protocall, the enemies aren't that responsive, like they stand and let you shoot them Don't forget how enticing E3 is gonnna be too Nothing comes close to LBP IMO
Ok, so everyone seems to think that Red Dead Redemption is going to be amazing. Just curious, but what's so amazing about it? Is there a demo out, or just videos? I'm trying not to get any games that I don't need, since I'm trying to keep my money for Dead Rising 2, Skate 3, Lost Planet 2, Halo: Reach, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and possibly Fallout: New Vegas. And on top of that, I've been dying to get some airsoft guns, so I'm trying not to spend any more money on games unless they're cheap (near or under $10) or they're definetly worth getting.
Just videos, and Edge magazine gave it a good score, they're pretty strict. Oh, and people have the game and have been streaming it online, they say it's good too. Lots of activities, the biggest map in any R* game to date, a bunch of multiplayer modes... ...and it's Rockstar. I'd place it way above Lost Planet 2 which is getting lower review scores than the first game, and also above Skate 3 which is almost identical to Skate 2.
