The hook is still kinda iffy (I actually played the demo, and it snapped a lot for me) , but I watched the vehicle doc... I want this game. Now.

Just Cause 2? I thought you had to be ridiculously precise with the hook at points and the vehicle controls were similar to Crysis AKA complete garbage.

And I was disappointed that those fuel tank things that shot 300 feet in the air were un-hookable while launching.

I'm thinking about Shadow Complex or Toy Soldiers.

Shadow Complex is fantastic. Toy Soldiers... eh, while trying out all the different units is fun, none of them individually are fun. It's a synergistic effect. I personally wasn't a fan. Definitely get SC, though. It's a couple hours short of a legit 360 game.

You can grapple the upright tanks and ride them as they take off.

...and Shadow Complex is awesome, I should hack your feet off for stalling on your decision.

GTA San Andreas is one of my favourite GTAs, I know there was a GTA thread and you can read about the awesomeness there ( A bit lazy to post the link :p) Anyway, I can't say much for Mass Effect and Army of Two because I never really played 'em but I love Battlefield: Bad company 2. Campaign may not be as great as MW2, though longer but multiplayer is really fun. Involves teamwork and you have to play each class individually to unlock more things for it, instead of just leveling up by playing another class. I'd recommend the PC version if your rig can handle it, mainly because I believe the PC version has more dedicated servers and less issues. (Note that some have been experiencing connection issues but EA kinda fixed it)

Any good horror games for the 360 that I can play online? I'm not talking about something like Resident Evil 5 which was more of an action game than anything, but something more like Condemned but with co-op. I'm not sure if there's anything like that, but if there is, please post it here.

Otherwise, any good online games for the 360 that aren't FPS or TPS games?

Left 4 Dead 2 is well-known for its co-op, but that's about it. As for games that aren't FPS or TPS, that's the thing that bugs me about the console. Their best games are just that. If you like building and driving/flying vehicles, Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts got pretty good reviews. GRiD and the latest NFS are good racing sims. Street Fighter is online on Games on Demand for $30, along with a good number of others. Check out Psychonauts on the original Xbox, which is also on Games on Demand, it's very underrated (but could be found for much cheaper on eBay, most likely).

Also, Just Cause 2 released today. Impressions?

Yeah, I have both Left 4 Dead games, and me and my friends have been playing quite a bit of the first one lately since one doesn't have L4D2 yet. I heard that B&K isn't as good as it's N64 predecessors, which I would most likely end up basing the game on, so it'd probably be a letdown, but I might give the demo a spin first. I might pick up a used copy of Street Fighter later. I think my friend has the PS2 version of Psychonauts, so I might borrow it from him.

And I might also see if I can get JC2 tonight. I'm not buying a PS3 anymore, so I have a good amount of money to spend right now.

Horror games: GET ALAN WAKE WHEN IT COMES OUT!!!!1!! Looks amazing, trailer scared me to death before it was taken off the Web. Not a FPS, either. Don't worry.

Online: Uhhh... Mortal Kombat vs. DCU, SFIV, Tekken 6 are fun fighting games for online.

What's Alan Wake? I've heard about it, mostly from here, but I still don't know what it is. Seeing as it's a horror game, I'm definetly interested.

And I'll probably get Just Cause 2 tomorrow. I havn't gotten a chance to get to Gamestop this week, but seeing as I have a ton of money to spend from my lack of need for a PS3, I'm free to buy a few games, and this is high up on my list.

Yeah, I have about 5 games I might get tomorrow:

    Just Cause 2
    Borderlands
Army of Two: The 40th Day
    Oblivion
    Street Fighter IV

And if I find any other good used games. I've been trying to get Doom 3 for my Xbox for a while, so this might be the best opportunity. I might get the Diablo 2 Battle Chest as well while I have the money.

Are there any videos of Alan Wake yet? If so, I'll just youtube it.

@Kamazar... I just don't even know how to reply to that...

I didn't find Borderlands that great. I played alone, the RPG elements were pretty standard, but even leveling up pretty far, it never got any more fun. I played with 3 other friends. Still pretty dry gameplay. The guns just didn't click with me. I'd rent it if I were you. I just didn't find it fun at all.

I've already played a good amount after borrowing it from my friend, and him and another friend have the game, so I want to get it so we can all play co-op. Plus, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit when I wasn't getting killed over and over trying to get through one area.

Oh yeah... I just remembered yet another game I need: Fallout 3.

Looking at your list, all great games, heard Oblivion was incredible, but I heard a lot of negative things about Army of Two. If i nwere u, i think id really look into what it is like.

I would actually say just wait for Fallout: New Vegas which comes out this fall but F3 is just an incredible experience.

I rented it for a week, and I loved it. You may be thinking of the first game, which I only played for a few minutes, but this was without a doubt amazing. Plus, I have a couple of friend who have it (which is the reason I'm getting half of these games) and we were planning to play some co-op games.

I was actually just going to get Fallout 3: GOTY edition since it comes with the expansions, and possibly get New Vegas when it comes out since I'll probably have more money by then.

And I remembered ANOTHER game I forgot: Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

I'm going to be broke after tomorrow.
