Ok along with those games I mentioned earlier I forgot about some: Just Cause 2 Alan Wake How are those?
For xBox: 1. Bad Company 2? 2. Mass Effect? 3. GTA San AndreaS? (deal of the week for 800 MP, never played it before) 4. Army of Two? thx
Ok so Im gonna get Halo reach for my birthday, Fallout 4 for christmas along with natal. Im renting BF BC2 2moro and gonna play the heck out of it so I dont have to buy it lol. but i dont think ill get MOH when that comes out so it is now down to Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause 2, MAYBE skate 3, Alan Wake, or a 60gb hard drive(I have 7 left on my current). What should I get? Oh and i saw COD WaW for 20 bucks. buy or no buy? EDIT: i forgot to say i think im def getting RDR but i wanted to hear some thoughts mainly on JC2, AW, and COD.
Definitely getting Alan Wake when it comes out. I'm psyched for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Ep. 1! OLD-SCHOOL SONIC!
Yeah, get COD for that price. Nazi Zombies is completely worth it seeing as it has all 4 maps and better connections, as well as an awesome campaign and fun multiplayer to add to it.
I've got 2100 Microsoft points. I have Geometry wars 2 Castle Crashers I'm thinking about: Battlefield 1943 Call of Duty Classic Halo 1
Dont you have to pay extra for the other maps? if so, how much? And has anyone played the just cause 2 demo? Id like to hear impressions cuz i got set up with a freakin child account.
Yeah, you have to buy each of the 3 maps. They come in map packs including a few multiplayer maps and one zombies map. Each pack is $10 (I think 800 points, not sure). I might give the JC2 demo a shot. Maybe. I have a few demos (Zombie Assault, Perfect Dark, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Crackdown) downloading right now, so if I get around to it I might do so.
Yeah, you should. I heard someone on youtube say just the area for the demo is larger than the entire area in GTA IV and I found that unbelievable. Then I heard the whole areas in the full game is like 1000 square miles.
Holy... crap... Well, after Crackdown is done (I like the concept of GTA with superpowers. A lot) I'll give it a shot. My Xbox takes forever to download stuff though... I might just leave it on when I go to school tomorrow.
Skate 1 to Skate 2 was a HUGE leap, so Skate 1 to Skate 3 should have enough new features to warrant a purchase. For BF I would say buy if you can manage to convince 3 other people to get it (like I did) and make sure they have mics because it'll make your experience about ten trigintillion times better because you'll have people to work together with you.
I forgot who it was that wanted some impressions on Just Cause 2, but here are some. I just downloaded the demo today after seeing some gameplay, and WOAH! The world is HUGE even in the demo! And it's only about a tenth of the actual game! The combat is fun, vehicles seem like they get awesome (I just started so I've only seen the crappy little bikes/cars so far), tons of weapons from what I can tell, the grappling hook is INSANE... and the list goes on. Plus, expect a decent storyline since it's made by Square Enix (although I havn't seen much story yet). When's the release date on this one? I want it as SOON as it comes out. I actually want to play the first one a bit now, since I've heard that it's pretty fun, but I'm not really sure how much it can live up to this. Just go get the demo. Now.
It comes out the 23rd, so in a couple days. While it looks fantastic, things are a little iffy for me. Not really that big a deal, but I wanna know the variety of the missions, whether or not they've fixed the camera issue, and if the grappling hook is still as weak as before. Maybe the gun aiming could be improved, but all in all, I just want initial impressions before my purchase. If you pre-order though, you can bonus content, but it depends on the store. The vehicles get better, though. The Yamaha bikes are really nice, and I'm not sure exactly where, but there's this missile-firing helicopter and armored cars. I'm guessing the nice stuff is a bit harder to get.
Thats great to hear. Sadly I got set up with a child account accidentally so I cant download stuff rated m. Im pretty sure im gonna buy it after seeing a bunch of videos on justcause2.com. It comes out March 23 which would be tuesday.
Watch some videos and you'll know that the grapplling hook is NOT weak. Its no0t liek how in the first one you had to select it out of ur inventory now it is just a button press. Actually im gonna get u a link to prove that the grappling hook is incredible. The variety of the missions is a question to me too, thats why im renting first. But im eager to try seeing as the entire world is over 600 square kilometers!
Trust me, it's NOT weak. I ended up using the hook throughout the entire demo pretty much. I was traveling using mainly the hook and parachute, tossing enemies around, stealing vehicles... All using the hook. I'm not sure what your other issues are since I never played the first game, but I might give the demo a download to play around with the JC formula in a new location, so I'll let you know if they fixed it if I do. And I didn't really get to use any awesome vehicles. I got around to stealing a couple of crappy bikes and cars, as well as one armored car with a mounted machine gun, but it got destroyed due to people shooting at it and my reckless driving. Not sure about the mission variety, since I only got to play half of one mission. Overall though, I will be playing the full version when it comes out.
