Thanks for the help! She asked for those hidden object games and I downloaded Doodle Find and that one Big Fish games gave for free today. I'll check Ice Age, Monopoly Hotels and Frogger. Cut the rope, tiny wings, Angry Birds and some others we already have them. I'll take a look on the other ones!
I am compiling a "wishlist" for games I want to get once i get my iPod touch in 29 days. I originally had aralon in it, thinking it was 99c forever but has gone back up and is out of the 20 dollar budget. I need a new 99c game to fill the new hole in my wishlist. What are some great games I should get, I would prefer hardcore games or RPGs. I am considering the doodle army 2 pro pack but still not sure. Thanks in advance
Well, I don't have a direct answer for you, but since you're getting your first iOS device soon and are worried about pricing, go to freemyapps.com before you buy anything to see if you can get any of the ones on your list for free (it's legal of course, and works really quickly as opposed to things like AppTrailers). Then hopefully you will have enough in your budget to get Aralon, cuz it's totally worth the money. And just to make this post more relevant, a game you should DEFINETELY get that's an indie action adventure game with RPG elements (and is current free) is Swordigo. Think Legend of Zelda as a side scroller with indie quality, and you get one of my favorite iOS games
Swordigo, Spelltower, Zombieville 2, Battleheart, Tiny Tower, League of Evil, and both Infinity Blades.
Make sure as soon as you get your device to download AppShopper. It's a Must Have for any game player. You load it up with the apps you want, and it lets you know when they go on sale. Historically, many game companies put their games on sale to correspond with U.S. holidays -- Memorial Day would be before you get your device, but July 4 would be a few weeks after. It might be good to wait it out for Aralon to go back to 99c. Swordigo (platformer), Dungeon Raid (match 3), and The Bard's Tale (true RPG) along with Aralon would be my recommendations.
I have a little more than $13 on itunes. What are some good games to get. I don't want any gameloft games.
Shadowgun Bullet Time HD Vertex Blaster Deadlock online Super Crossfire Swordigo Jetpack Joyride Monster Shooter The Lost Levels Lock N Load SAS Zombie Assault 3
All right, so: I am a sucker for games in a non-RPG genre that throw RPG business into the mix. I have Dungeon Raid, King Cashing, Nine Dungeon, Tower of Fortune, Treasure Swipe, Dungeon Solitaire. I have Puzzle Quest 2 on the PC. I missed out on Sword & Poker and kick myself daily now that it's no longer in the app store. Which ones am I missing, folks? Help a brother out. Thank you
Ok,so should I get Phoenix Wright,Resident Evil 4,or Sonic CD.Any othe suggestions would be nice.I only have $7 left on my account so thanks in advanced.
Well none of these are really puzzle games but some good ones are: Solomons boneyard Mini motor racing Acsenision Spellsword Star warfare Sky gnomes I guess ur looking for more puzzle based games I'm not completely sure but I think one of those word games might have something like that...
I'm thinking of getting minecraft, one thing though, can I play with people on pc and do I need to have brought minecraft for pc Beforehand, also I already have Eden, is it worth getting minecraft
No, you don't need Minecraft for PC. No, you can't play with people playing on PC. Minecraft has Survival mode and crafting (and Creative), and Eden is just Creative mode. Whether Survival and crafting is worth it to you, well, that's for you to decide.
No you can't play with PC people and you dont need the pc version.I haven't played Eden but if our on the fence for minecraft there is a light version,or you could get the full game for free on Free My Apps.Hope this helped
I guess my original question was kind of unclear, based on the games you've recommended. It's not so much puzzle games, or any-old-game-where-you-level-up-and-buy-equipment, but games where you look at the description and go "WAIT. You crossed WHAT with an RPG?" Another good example would be Dungeon Scroll, which mixes Scrabble and an old-school Wizardry-like dungeon crawl. Thanks for the suggestions, though. I have several of the games on that list and while they don't fit what I'm talking about at all they are good games nonetheless
