Hey guys, I'm looking for a new game to play since I finished Beans Quest. What I really am looking for is a new platformer to play but I think I've played all of the ones that are appealing to me. (Im looking for more retro graphics and something that not childish) I'm also open for other recommendations that are not platformers too. Ant suggestions, will be appreciated. Just keep in mind that I am not a fan of games like angry birds and the like. Heres a list of some of the games I have already: Carcassonne Black Ops Junk Jack Lunar Racer Cubemen Edge Ticket to Ride Super create Box Tiny Wings Beans Quest The last rocket Triple Town Air supremacy Zombie gunship Poker Pals Mini Motor Racing Tiny Tower 1 Bit Ninja Paper Monsters Forever Drive Mos Speed Run Rally x Racer Civilization Flight Control Flying Hamster Super Stickman Golf Bumpy Road World of Goo Deadlock: Online League of Evil (didn't like it) Rage HD Dream Track Nation Jelly defense cubes v spheres Traffic Rush iBlast Moki2 Game Dev Story Cut the Ropes Zenoina 2,3,4 Gemcraft Deth Rally Kami Retro Unblockme Oven Break Osmos ArcheType Risk Monopoly Drawsomething Superbrothers S&S battleheart geometry wars GLWG Infinity Blade 1 Square ball Slay blocks mania blockrus bloons/td field runners god finger game dev story grand prix story madden 11 thanks!
There's a game from Chillingo called knights rush that has gameplay pretty similar CC unfortunately it hasn't been updated in awhile,it's kind of glitchy and there's no online mode or anything. It's still a fun 2d side scrolling beat em up. I recommend Froggato,Soozis, Kung Fu rabbit, terra noctis, shantes:RR, Swordigo based on ur list. I tried beans quest and was really unhappy with it, I don't like how ur always having to jump and the fact that u can't complete all the quests for one level at a time unless ur like a robot or sumthing...
Try out the lite version to see if you like the constant bouncing.. I can tell its a good game..but I couldn't get into it. And the later levels drove me nuts... But thats my preference..a lot of others love it.
I'm having a really hard time finding iPhone games that interest me of late. Is there anything out there like Dungeon Keeper? Those were probably my favorite PC games. Also: I tries starbase Orion and was disappointed, I may just grab ascendancy, I used to play that on PC and I KNOW it's good. Also: has final fantasy tactics had all its bugs fixed yet?
What about Burger cat? It's the first that comes to my mind... Or Scorched Monsters!! I found it thanks to the forum, and I'm nuts about it! ..and if you like retro games this is soo cool!! I love the 8-byt graphic! And speaking of 80's arcade game and 8-byt graphic... What about Neoteria? or Super Drill Panic..all by the same developer, I found their website online looking for arcade 8 byt games... I'd like to have some reviews before I get them..anyone?
Don't see too many releases tonight. Will probably get SpellSword and Ballistic SE along with LEGO HP: Years 5-7, which will hopefully be an universal time release as WB's other iOS games have been. MvC2 is great fun, so it's been a pretty good week either way.
That's pretty good, isn't it? I've been getting 0-1 for the last few weeks, so I'm happy to see a week where I find two of the games interesting (Ballistic SE, Spellsword).
I loved Beans Quest. If you like platformers its a must buy. There is about 4 different worlds each containing between 8-12 or so different levels. and then their is a final boss battle that is pretty cool s well. Then on top of completing each level and beating the final boss, there are 3 goals to complete in each level which include beating the level in less then a certain of number of jumps, collecting all the coins, and finding a cat which is usually hidden or in a hard to reach or clever location. The gameplay is also very high quality and the levels are very very very cleverly crafted.
Im looking for a new game for my new iPad. So far i've got call of duty black ops zombies, mc 3 and GTA3. Any suggestions? Btw how is MvC 2 for the new iPad?
Not sure you need the HD version for play on an iPod, but yeah, the game is definitely up there with the best iOS has to offer.
Okay I need a quick reply, Mage gauntlet or spell sword?? I can probably stretch to both but is it worth it ?
Wow, Apple's new featured list is pretty ridiculous. MvC2 and SpellSword are nowhere near the top of the list. Ballistic SE and Inotia 4 aren't even featured. 3 of the top 4 featured games are free. What.
Well, MvC2 I can understand. I'm actually sorry to see that so many people purchased the game, as it affirms Capcom's stance on giving fans as little as possible for as much as they can squeeze us for. I'll continue to enjoy it on PS3 with my trusty fighting stick.
