Been awhile since I came back to iOS gaming, are there any good time-management game from the past year or so? (Yes, I've not been playing iOS games for more than a year already.)
Oh dear god... OnLive is on hold for 1-2 months yet this app Pokemon - Pocket Edition gets approved.... http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pokemon-pocket-edition/id500631505?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2 Just shows App Store's wealthy condition.
Guess this week's releases weren't too attractive to the common AppStore customer.. Only PVS is in the top 50. LoE2 and Little Acorns are in the top 100. BSB isn't even in the top 100. Nothing else in the top 200.
I never check the overall apps charts, but wow. Just looked, lmao. No other platform has customers this ignorant, but that's the point isn't it? Scam customers who own multiple iPads and iPhones from every generation out of a few dollars. They're not going to care. They'd rather lose those few dollars than take the time to "research" apps, so meh.
Yeah, but those screenshots look like they're from the game and even the name suggests it's real Pokemon. Most don't read the description.
What are some really fun games out there? Looking to pick a few games up, but I want to know which games are the funnest. Any suggestions are helpful! Also is it worth buying Madden 12/Fifa 12 if I already own the '11 counterparts?
The reviews I've read say Madden 11 and 12 are basically the same game with updated rosters. Fifa 12 does add a manager mode so if your looking for that then it may be worth it. Check these games out: Little Acorns Tilt to Live Pizza Vs. Skeletons Beat Hazard Ultra
Okay, thanks. I'd heard that Madden 12 had an arcade mode and a "2 minutes left to win" mode as well. Is that true? If it has both I think I might pick it up, though I've heard in some ways its worse than 11, so I dunno. Might skip on FIFA 12 since I'm not really a soccer management fan. Already have Little Acorns and Beat Hazard Ultra, can't play PvS unless I upgrade (iOS 5 only), but I may take a look at Tilt to Live. I've heard a lot about that game but it really didn't sound that interesting. Is it just tilting around avoiding enemies and grabbing items?
That's gameplay in a nutshell yes. But its also incredibly addicting, frantic, intense, and super fun. Its been out for almost 2 years and no other game in the genre has come close in my book. Also, take a look at the Hook Champ series, Space Miner, and Bug Heroes for a few older but excellent titles that still hold up.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an iPad or iPhone app that I can use to keep track of my DVD and BD collection? Ideally I would like something that catalogs TV shows and movies, but I'll take what I can get. So far this has been the best thing I have found: My Movie Collection. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Dave
