Looking for an rpg that has a long lifespan. Also is Final Fantasy iii any good, played the ds version but didn't get very far. I realise that progression is faily slow and the game requires a fair bit of grinding so you don't get screwed over by the end of dingeon boss. But is it worth that hefty price tag? I've played many of the FF games (the obvious ones mainly i.e. FFI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFXIII and also chaos rings) but as far as know these are all far easier than III i am looking for a bit of a challenge though as recent RPGs i've played involve the slightest bit of extra grinding and you can kill everything in 1 hit.
has anyone played mini motor racing? i was thinking of getting it but wanted to know if its worth the dollar or not. or call of mini zombies?
Mini Motor is worth the dollar. It's a great little racing game. It's got a few flaws, but I enjoyed my time with it.
Mini Motor is way more fun than Call of Mini. What's the best puzzle platformer available? I have Babylonian Twins, Karoshi, Cavorite, and Candy Boy.
Jazz: Jump's Journey or Stretched Kami Retro or Continuity 2 Lost Winds too has a pretty nice puzzle element to it as well (puzzle/adventure platformer)
Thanks guys, the only one's of those I don't have are Jazz and Lost Winds. With all the awesome $0.99 platformers is Lost Winds worth $4. I'll probably wait for a sale. I'm cheap I know. I'm really looking for a game similar to the game Limbo from the XBLA.
Well, IMO, Limbo was really an atmospheric game and puzzles/difficulty was on and off (high & low) IMHO. . Plus, a lot of the difficulty lied in finding/getting the eggs. I loved Limbo and it's one of my favorite XBLA arcade games with Castle Crashers. I highly recommend Jazz.
Should I get Hatchi? I never played a real 'Tamagotchi' (I hope I spelled that right), So there will be no 'nostalgia' for me! http://toucharcade.com/2012/01/31/hatchi-receives-fixes-huge-future-updates-teased/
To be honest, it's pretty featureless right now. The most you can do is feed your pet, put it to sleep, have it play or read, etc. After that there is really not much. Pygmies Hoglet and My Little Monster are better, although they have more rpg elements than sim elements. A really underrated sim game would be Pocket Oinko.
I will say this 100 times, if your a platform gamer Paper Monsters is a must buy. If you got extra cash after that chesseman, stardash,or pizza boy are excellent choices.
Ascension chronicles of the Godslayer or Carcassonne? Which of these 2 is more active in the multiplayer online aspect?
I think they're both pretty even for multiplayer. It just depends on if you are more interested in a deck building game or a tile building game.
My brother and I are looking for a game that might not actually exist, so I come to you all in hopes you might know of something. We liked Tiny Tower (until we found out messing with the clock turned the game into a pointless heap). What we liked was the whole you-don't-have-to-play-that-much-to-progress. You know what I mean, right? A lot of games have this. Select a floor to build, a horse to train, a building to start construction, and it'll just go. Of course many of these games encourage you to speed these processes up with some IAP. Which we didn't do, because we work and other such adult responsibilities and are more than happy to wait. What we didn't like about Tiny Tower was that it isn't a deep game, at all... 'Playing' it really only involved bringing folks to the floors they asked for. But that was about it. What we'd really like is something like Tiny Tower, but with more gameplay. Something like... maybe a game where you're running a town and when things are being built you can go out into the world and kill monsters to find loot to sell in the shops your running? Maybe something like Galaxy Empire (sort of a StarCraft kind of game), but then while your base is building you can fly a ship and go on missions? Something of a hybrid between, say... FarmVille and Mage Gauntlet? Is there anything like that?
