Well, since you put it like that ... sounds like something everyone needs, especially seeing that it does custom URLs. Also just saw that it's done by the same guys that did Gas Cubby, which I use to keep track of oil changes in my cars so I'm a definite fan of the developers.
Which Tower Defense game should I get first: Unstoppable gorg or Plants Vs. Zombies HD (Already have iPhone version)
I really want to get Mini Motor Racing HD when its on sale but it just crashes on my iPad 1. Should I get the iPhone one instead or should I save my money and get Reckless Racing 2?
Ya, it's only 99c... By the time reckless racing comes out ull get alot of fun out of it then u can get rr2
Can I recommend Staunch Defense instead of one of those? It's an amazing tower defense with immense depth and strategy. The graphics are strange and a bit poor, but who cares. The gameplay is where its at.
So I know a few of you guys on the forums have kids - the little 8 year old in the house has inherited my old iPod touch 2G a long time ago. I've found lots of games for her since, but she's played through most of them, including the new ones I got. So my question is: What are decent kids' games that work on a 2G? She likes games like Foodies or Plump, but will play pretty much anything as long as it isn't educational.
I want to recommend a game for those who like word games. Definitely check out Puzzlejuice. I was skeptical at first, as I didnt really know how the tetris/word finding gameplay would mesh together. But simply, wow. And honestly, I only play Words with Friends occasionally, and no word game has really caught my interest. Seriously, grab this game now while its still 0.99. I've been playing it nonstop, one of my fav games now!
Hey I was wondering about the new game on the idevices called Dungeon Crawlers. Question being is it worth the small $1.99¢ sum??
I'm enjoying it! Here's my GOTW listing. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2110966#post2110966
Dungeon Crawlers is great. If your going to buy a new endless runner, get Blot. Avoid OEG at all costs. I'm looking for an asynchronous Risk game.
Is OEG really that bad??? Was thinking about possibly getting it, but hadn't made up my mind yet. If you don't mind it being non-async, Conquist 2 is by far the best RISK style game on the app store. Don't know of any async ones though....
If you want a runner get Blot, or an older one maybe. There are just way too many runners that are better than OEG. Here's a quick five runners that are more fun than OEG; Jetpack Joyride, Darkness Rush, Temple Run, Grim Joggers, Whale Trail, Rogue Runner, Canabalt, Hook Worlds, Hurdle Turtle, Tiny Wings, Robo Surf, Techno Kitten Adventure, and the Dash Mode in Paper Monsters. Woops thats more than five. See how easy it is to name better ways to spend your buck. Perhaps I'm being too harsh on OEG, but I don't see anyone coming in to defend its case. Thanks for the Conquist recommendation. Still want an async one to play with my friends.
For a dollar, what's the funnest game you guys can think of? Just no RPGs, please. Also wondering on Ant Raid and Anthill, though anything really fun with a decent amount of content I'll be sure to take a really good look at! (Also if it's more than a dollar, that's alright, just make sure it works on iOS 4.2 before you suggest it please)
Whooohoooo, just got a screen protector to go on extremely easily on my iphone, so much easier than the ipod touch. feels awesome.
Well, I say go with Ant Raid since you mentioned it. Other than that for a buck Blot is the best choice IMO. Paper Monsters is quite fun as well.
Don't actually own any of them (not a shmup fan usually) but from what I've heard, Rayforce is very subpar, below any of CAVE's games, and not worth getting. If you're picking from those three, get one of the CAVE games. Also @GoofyJmaster-- Will take a better look at Ant Raid then. What type of game would you best describe it as though? Also I'll look into Blot, looks like it might be interesting (and something screenshots wouldn't do justice too). I already own Paper Monsters and find it a bit subpar compared to say, Terra Noctis. Also: would anyone suggest picking up Ice Rage for iPod Touch (e.g. not iPad) ?
