Sounds good, hope you enjoy PuzzleJuice. I'm trying to get as many people to buy it as possible as I think its amazing. You can check out the Cavern of Minos thread if your not convinced. I would say if you liked the other Llamasoft games you'll like this one. If their not your cup of tea this one probably won't be any different for you.
No need to worry about that, it's already in the top 20 on the charts in the US xP. Going on sale from $2.99 to $0.99 when the game was already charting well in under a day was an awful move though.
I've been enjoying all of these games so far, but it has been a hassle trying to play em' all. Music games Frederic Resurrection of Music (wonderful game but tough) Cytus Platformers Jazz: Trump's Journey (definitely recommended) Niko Bit-1 RPG and/or TBS Henry and the Psionic Overlords Ash II Time of Heroes Caylus Action Star Marine Age of Barbarians Darkness Rush (action endless runner) Casual Sploosh Racing Streetbike: Full Blast Smash Cops Lunar Racer Retro Caverns of Minos
Bard's Tale? Yay or Nay? I've been meaning to buy it but I was worried to buy it as it would go on my backlog. Also about how long is it?
Okay, need a little help on which games to buy. Here's the ones I'm thinkin' about: Zombie Wonderland 2, Lunar Racer, Ice Rage, Squids, Dungeon Raid (don't really like match 3s OR rpgs...), Cytus, Charadium (not even sure what this is), or any other top suggestions? Just say which game you think is the funnest, why, and I'll most likely start the download process instantly!
Squids was a fun TBS...nuff said. I hesitated on buying it for the longest time, but finally did and have no regrets. It's a really good TBS and adventure game, but underrated. Cytus is a fun, unique rhythm game. The music is really cool. Personally, I'd recommend trying the lite version of Frederic Resurrection of music if you like rhythm games because it's beautiful, has an awesome and crazy story, absolutely amazing music, and the piano gameplay is fun and surprisingly easy to pick up. The only problem is the game is pretty tough and requires you to do really well to win the battles. However, the game itself is so remarkably brilliant, you'll eagerly try, try, try until you get past the roadblock. Lunar Racer: Fun take on racing games. I've enjoyed it!
Yeah, is Bard's Tale good, since it's on sale now for 2.99? I'm not a huge fan of RPGs, but have played some and enjoyed them. Btw, never played the original, so dont really know what to expect. Any impressions would be awesome
It's the funniest game ever made. Like a normal 3rd person action Rpg type game in everyother way (like aralon). The best way it's been said is it's like if Monty python and the holy grail made a video game....
Squids is really fun if you like turn based strategy games. Its sort of like a TBS with angry bird mechanics to move & attack. To fully enjoy the game, I had to take my time to plan out moves and attacks, and use the environment to my advantage. Don't play this game if you don't want to take the time to plan moves, cause one wrong move and you may need to start over the level. Dungeon Raid sounds like its not for you (based on your comments about match 3 & rpg). You can try the lite version as its pretty meaty and will give you a good idea if you'll like this. I'm not usually a fan of match 3 (but I like RPG), and I've tried the lite version of Dungeon Raid lite a few times, only to delete it quickly because I didn't strategize and just cleared stuff randomly. But this time for the sale, I finally gave it more time, and found it fun when you try to strategize. I finally picked it up and have a lot of fun with it. Cytus is a fun rhythm/music game to me. I like most of the music (check out preview on dev's website), and like the mechanics of the game. While its not really Elite Beat Agents/Osu Tatakae Ouendan (on Nintendo DS), its gives me the same franticness feeling as in those games (which I loved). As with most rhythm games, in the end its all about memorization. When everything clicks in this game, my fingers are flying, criss-crossing and sliding across the screen, and its fun as heck to me.
Nice, that sounds appealing. Downloading right now, but its taking forever(huge file). By the way, if you download a game using your computer itunes, and then transfer it onto your ipod, do you still need to have double the amount of space to actually download+install the app? So for Bard's Tale, can I just leave around 2 GB open, instead of having like 3.8 GB? Don't really wana delete ALL my games for this, sucks having an 8GB ipod.
You need "double" only if you're downloading it straight to the device. You're downloading the installer file and on top of that you need the space required to install the game.
Ok thank you! Thats good to know for future reference as well. Jeez, just deleted like 2 GB worth of apps for nothing
If you have a computer, iTunes will put it onto your device without needing the extra space. This is how I put big games on my device when my space is low. So, all you need is enough space for the actual file size of the game.
Could anyone recommend me a game?. I like arcade games, games like Supet crate Box, league of evil etc kinda old school games.

Yay or nay on Minotron 2112? Never got a Minter game and I know to expect "unique" charm. I'm mostly unsure about the controls as numerous reviews mentions you need to get used to the controls. I know he has other games, but I'm more of a dual stick shooter person.
Honestly, recommending Llamasoft games isn't the easiest thing to do because of the style. All I can say is, I really enjoyed it!
