Yeah, I totally had a major brain fart on the non linear number. KoDP is your best bet for full immersion and prolly has the least linear gameplay you'll find on iOS IMO. Check out Henry and the Psionic Overlords! I forgot about this one!
Thanks alot for the suggestions, Bring me Sandwiches looks interesting, and Run Roo Run I've been thinking about buying but not so sure. Any others anyone can think of? Also any more "classic" style of match-3 games, with great graphics and replay value. Thanks
Yay. I have all the Llamasoft games and it is already my favorite. The article that was on the front page has a video that shows gameplay pretty well. Its a retro lunar lander game but your lander also shoots out a barrage of bullets. As with all the Llamasoft games, stuff gets pretty frantic FAST. There's a good deal of content here. I haven't unlocked all the caverns yet as it gets tough pretty fast. But there are a bunch of levels and different difficulty levels to try, as well. The different difficulty levels involve using a different ship, each with slightly different characteristics.
Have you tried any of these: Ninja Fishing - Fishing and Fruit Ninja together Spycorp - Very cool platformer Critter Chaos - Cut The Rope style game with slime you can shoot to slow your critters down Climbing Brothers - Cut The Rope style game Perfect Cell - Very casual platformer Sword and Poker 2 Sword and Sworcery Orbital Splode Last Fish Osmos Space Miner Doodle Truck Bike Baron Plunderland Super Stickman Golf Deo Ready Action Dice Soccer Run Kitty Run Arcade Jumper These are of varying degrees of difficulty but none of them are hard so I would put them all in a 'casual' category. Each one of them has a different feel, different physics, different levels of enjoyment. Maybe there's something in here that you might like.
Thanks for the tips guys! I looked at your suggestions, and picked these out of them. Should start to decide which to buy now, I have the lite versions of Last Fish and Dice Soccer, but Coin Drop and HoK look awesome!! If anyone else has other suggestions that'd be great - thanks again If anyone has other match-3 games I should check out too let me know, I'm starting to play them more
My favorite match-3's are: Traditional Piyo Blocks 2 (amazing) 7 Wonders - Magical Mystery Tour (amazing) Woolly Factory Babo Crash Treasures of Montezuma Little Different Chop Sushi (amazing) Monsters Ate My Condo (amazing) Radballs Bird Zapper Pac-Chomp Marble Shooters Sparkle The Game (amazing) Luxor Luxor 2 Luxor AR Sparky vs. Glutters Fruit Tumble
I need a game with a good story and it's gotta be an Rpg turn based or action I don't really care. Oh and under $5
Ash ($0.99), if you haven't played it, plus Ash II ($2.99, $4.99), which just released. Best writing/storyline that you'll find in an iOS JRPG, guaranteed.
I was thinking about them but I only have enough for ash 1 and silver of ash 2 but I prefer if I had gold as there is apparently many episodes coming out. How long is ep1 of ash II? Will I be confused if I didn't play the first?
Yes, you're going to want to play the first game first. The game is all about the storyline, and the second game picks up right where Ash left off. It'll take you about 10-12 hours to beat the first. The developers have said that each chapter in the second game will be around 5 hours long.
Puzzlejuice is awesome! Its an easy recommendation especially with the $0.99 sale. The front page writers are convinced and so am I. Enjoy! I already told you how awesome Cavern of Minos is, but I guess you don't trust my opinion since you had to bump it anyway.
No I did see and trust your opinion, it's just that I have like 3,88 or less and I'm saving for CM games(especially paper monsters) so a little unusual game is putting me off with only one reply, even though its good feedback, I'd still rather have 2 comments at least. But I'll get puzzlejuice so you wont think I don't trust your opinions
So pocketgamer has a review here They don't sound too thrilled about the game. I have to admit that it seems to appeal to a niche crowd that have followed llamasoft games for a while already. So if you have liked any of his past stuff... maybe it is worth your time. For me though, I won't touch the stuff. Just too weird and retro for my taste (and this coming from a guy who is both weird and... um, retro)
