LOL...I thought you received a decent amount of answers in the thread you made, no? Anyways, none of those three games are RPGs, they're pretty much just TBSs with good campaigns/storylines and maybe a few RPG elements. Like I've said before if you want a strategy-RPG, you will find it in KoDP. If you just want a really good strategy game then you will find it in the others. The closest thing to strategy-RPG in the list you mentioned is WoE.
Ya, I was just trying to decide what to play first now that I've got it sorted out. And im not looking for and Rpg but most strategy games do have some Rpg elements.(and I mean story mostly) I checked out Kodp and it looked more like just screens with pictures and words not like a bunch of viewable characters.. I dunno? Correct me if I'm wrong.... I'm not looking for anything like quest or games that are based more on screens and text.
I mean, yeah, it's an interactive storybook type game. I typically like to see things and Ravenmark is my second favorite TBS on iOS after this, but KoDP gets a pass. The game's immersion factor is as big as you can find and the strategy is more intense than anything too. I almost let it slip through my fingers because of the storybook design. Thank bajeezus I didn't because at the moment it's still my favorite game on iOS by quite a bit. I think any strategy fan or RPG fan would appreciate the game. I also think anybody who played games like D&D where you pretty much created your story will appreciate it. Nothing has been more highly acclaimed than KoDP and it's a port from a game made in 1999. I just happened to get overlooked back then, but the game is still amazing today. Anyways, I would suggest getting Ravenmark first, then WoE, then Battle for Wesnoth.
Anyone can recommend me a game that like's Infinity blade 2 ? . and some nice game to play? . Thanks!
Mm, I wouldn't exactly classify EPOCH in the same category as Infinity Blade, Dark Meadow or Batman. EPOCH is more like.. Metal Gear Solid Touch
Ok thanks, it's not that I'm opposed to or don't like storybook type games, I guess it's the ten dollar price tag. I was actually thinking about buying an Rpg in that design called dungeons and such but I haven't heard if it's good or not except for the reviews which seem mostly positive... So I will consider Kodp in the future.... These Ganesh take awhile to play and I have to focus on one at a time... I've been playing like 5 arpgs/jrpgs and I can barely remember which is which and the stories...
Do you know that Shining Force 1 is on the Appstore? It was my first SRPG and I really loved it. Anyway, I played both War of Eustrath and Battle for Wesnoth and I liked them both, but Wesnoth gets a nod from me. Eustrath is more of a SRPG and it is easier, but the writing/translation is pretty bad and mechanics grow repetitive, IMHO. BfW is more of a TBS, but the stories are decent, the gameplay and art much more varied, and of course there are tons of different content. Music is good too. OTOH, death of a story character during a mission is an automatic fail and generic characters that you have spent time and effort lovingly leveling are gone for good if they die. This somewhat gets in the way of my enjoyment of this otherwise excellent title, but YMMV.
Are a lot of people still playing Carcassonne? Thinking about getting it but obviously I want people to play it with. Also does the game do random matches through Gamecenter?
Carcassonne is still very popular and I never have trouble finding a random game when I need one. Feel free to hit me up for a game to get yourself started Game Center Name (and everything else): Sanitymops
What are some simple, addictive (free) high score games? ex. Traffic Rush (got it when it was free), Falldown, Crash!, etc. Anything more complicated then Temple Run i dont want And some online casual multiplayer games that are turn based, kinda like Words with friends?
Okay thanks, Vimeo I think I'll pass as I've tried it before and I liked Splice more than that, but I'll look into RD!
