help pick a game for my finicky tastes... I'm in the mood for some iOS gaming, any one got any suggestions? For reference...here's the iOS games I've liked enough to play start to finish- Critter Crunch- i love high-speed action/puzzle combos Wind Up Knight- i loved the nes-like difficulty Birzzle- great polish, addictive/simple mechanic Plants v zombies- nailed it jetpack joyride- fun, fast, great aesthetics Hector series- so so adventure game but i like old school adventures Monkey Island Se- reliving a classic There may have been a couple more I've really dug but that's close to the full list. If you also liked any of those - can you suggest something else for me?
Looks like you're into more pick-up-and-play Casual titles than hardcore Dead Space-type games. Must try: King Cashing Amazing Breaker Bike Baron Muffin Knight / Super Crate Box
Based on the last 2 you listed, I'd recommend Puzzle Agent. Bet you guys didn't see that one coming huh?
definitely not into any 3d first person games. also hate rpgs. nothing turned based. i like 'hardcore' in the 'thats really hard' sense but generally dont want to play anything with wizards, orcs, mages, experience points, or space marines. forgot about amazing breaker! loved it. bike baron, didnt like it. do have super crate box, enjoying it. king cashing new to me, getting the trial. thanks for the suggestion! any others ideas?
thanks! Played all the puzzle agent games and enjoyed them. I guess i did a crappy job with my list Open to other things in the genre if you have more suggestions. (have also played almost all the telltale games that aren't based on tv shows, but on the pc or wii). tried the captain brawe demo today but didn't like it.
I loved critter crunch and a few other games I've discovered have reminded me of it, Bad apples (free) and panda BBQ also free, and $1 to unlock the full version on iPhone. They both have those puzzles where you have to kind think before you move, but it's also kinda like a match 3. I didnt think it'd like them but after giving them a go, since there free, I ended up loving them.
Thanks for the suggestions. Downloading panda bbq now. Remembering a few others - I liked Warblade quite a bit (nice retro-y shooter with a good control scheme for iphone.)
I can't recommend it enought but Axe in Face is probably one of the best Casual games I have played. I download 5-6 casual games a week and review them all. But the best I have found is Axe in Face
So i recently bought pocket league story by kairosoft and im absolutely addicted to this game. My question is out of all the kairosoft games which one is your favorite or is the best? I really want to add another fine app by kairosoft to my collection. Any help would be appreciated.
Just recently bought an iPad 2.. I'm new to this so please any recommend must have games or entertaing ones that will keep me busy..
Everyone will probably say Game Dev Story, and it is my favorite by FAR(Pocket League Story is second though). If you didn't try it, TRY IT NOW. Will have you addicted for days. If you have tried it already, my other favorite is Mega Mall Story. Like Tiny Tower, but so much more depth. If you like building combinations and building your own city kind of thing, try Oh!Edo Towns.(Venture Towns is the modern version but it isn't very good imo.) I actually enjoyed Hot Springs Story, but besides building and watching your customers, there was nothing to do, and the game didn't keep you busy, so it was decent. Pocket Academy is also cool and I would recommend, as it blends the elements of Pocket League Story/Game Dev Story(upgrading, making best team/game possible) and building aspects of the other titles and makes it into a very satisfying school building game where you try to build the best school. And finally, Grand Prix Story. Surprisingly, I didn't really like it compared to the others. It felt fairly easy, and just watching the race unfold was quite boring. It also didn't have the depth that most Kairosoft games have. Lol sorry for the long speech, but I could go on about Kairosoft games forever. Love most of their titles, and even though I said a few did not really suit my tastes, you really can't go wrong with Kairosoft! So to sum it up, 1. Game Dev 2. Pocket League 3. Mega Mall 4. Pocket Academy 5. Oh Edo Towns 6. Grand Prix 7. Hot Springs 8. Venture Towns EDIT: If you want more info on each game, you can PM me , or check out forums to help you decide!
And if you need another list, here's my top list: 1. Game Dev Story 2. Mega Mall Story 3. Pocket League Story 4. Pocket Academy 5. Oh Edo Towns So basically as I haven't finished PLS yet and I know MMS is fricking awesome, it goes second.
Hey guys. When I'm older, I wish to be a pilot and X-Plane HDEF4G looks like a full on simulator I can practice with. Question is, is it worth the asking price of £6.99?
Ok, before I was talking about strategy RPGs and what's good and all and I guess I've settled on 3 for the moment that all seem long and immersive. So which of these three games should I play first? Battle for Wesnoth, War of Eustrah or Ravenmark? Or if somEthing else then say that, I might consider fft but the price is a factor and I'm pretty sure the games I've listed are atleast as good or better? I dunno if u think fft is better then let me know... The only real stratEgy RPGs(not tower defense) I've played ever are tactics ogre, fire emblem and shining force 2... And out of the those I'd say sf2 is my fav, tactics ogre( the snes one ) was ok, and fire emblem I didn't really like. I've also played advanced wars but that didn't have a story however I did enjoy the gameplay. Edit- well since no ones answered yet I guess u can go ahead and throw greed Corp in as well... Also Eustrath is on sale I think for 3$ while the others are 5$ and Wesnoth is 4$. Money is not really the issue it's size cuz I only have about 600 mb and yes I haven't bought anything yet but I'm planning on playing them all at some point plus siegecraft I guess and a few others...
