It wouldn't take too long to unlock everything, and honestly I didn't really use a large portion of the weapons just saved for the mini gun and then upgraded to the best from there but there is lots to unlock and the whole experience of doing so is a blast. The game is what, $2.99? $3 is nothing, I've played this game through unlocking everything at least 4 times now and I love it each and every time. Plus some time this year they'll be releasing a new update with added content. I am happy to give them $3 for such a fun and quality game.
How does Cubed Rally Racer compare to CR Redline? Like if I have Redline, is Racer worth getting too?
Honestly they are both great and both continue to get regular updates. One plus of Frontiers is that you get to allocate skill points to your heroes when they level up.
There are 4 free heroes and the others are paid. Buying heroes are optional, They just offer different experience. (i haven't bought any hero)

Hi again, I'm now looking for a good vertical shooter. I've not really played any before, so forgive my ignorance. I'm looking for one that has stages (and preferably a lot of them) rather than endless, with a lot of upgrades to get. I'd rather not pay over £5 as I'm not entirely sure I'll like it and any semblance of story or level ups would be a bonus if there's any such thing. Any suggestions?
