Warhammer vs Space Hulk... any thoughts? I'll probably get one soon but probably not both. If I tend to gravitate towards Diablo-esque games, will I enjoy one over the other? And which is more complicated? Also I don't play online, only solo, so does that make one better than the other? Thanks in advance!
Definitely Warhammer. More like Diablo for sure. I haven't played Space Hulk but from what I've seen and heard it's mostly a digitalized board game. Warhammer is more like they took the board game and made it a fantastic TBS dungeon-crawler lootfest. So yeah, if you like Diablo, Warhammer Quest is more up your alley. Also I think it's just an all around better game IMO.
Warhammer Quest for now, because it is more of an RPG game (well, not really an RPG..... just a board game adaptation with RPG elements) and relatively more accessible. Also if you don't play online, Warhammer Quest would be a better choice with expansions ($4.99 each) to keep you coming back for more loots and quests or try different heroes combination. By any means, Warhammer Quest is not superior to Space Hulk, since both games are different (themes, gameplay mechanics, etc.). In addition, you would save yourself some cash for Christmas sales, which is going to hit really soon. EDIT: But.....IMHO, I think Warhammer Quest (on IOS) is a better game overall on IOS, although both original board games are great. Space Hulk relies heavily on nostalgia, but it is not that entertaining for me compared to Warhammer Quest....missions get boring after awhile.
Thanks for the quick replies Bio and ChoCho. Warhammer it is! Your rationals actually got me excited to try it.
Are there any good games that do NOT require a connection? Adventure Town, Pixel People, Tribez, Big Business, Crafter, Monster Adventures, and S.O.L are examples of great games I have that do not require a constant connection. I certainly do not miss out on anything of value by not being constantly connected either. Band Stars(?), Puzzle Dragons, a Puzzle Dragon clones with slots instead (Don't remember the exact title), Team Monster, among others are examples of great games I want that require a constant connection Any recommendations would be sorely needed.
Well, 95% of good games don't require a constant connection so you're in luck. Perhaps share you favorite genre so I can narrow it down? Otherwise I'd be listing the whole AppStore.
Well, it definitely feels like from all the searching and testing I've done that the majority of legit good games ask for a connection. I'm finding myself mostly drawn to Simulation games these days, since they do not require much time investment.
I've already beat that. It was my favorite game while I was playing it. Waiting on expansions for it now.
Umm have you played all the Nimblebit games? And if you're into Super Hexagon type games there's Super Hexagon, Boson X, Duet Game, and Octagon. Then if you're a fan of Monster Adventures I recommend all Foursaken Media's games.
I need a good trading card game for my iPad. I don't really need to play online. Magic 2014 crashes on me. Does Magic 2013 work better? How about the other competitors? Might and Magic? Order and Chaos? I played Shadow Era and am no longer interested in it.
There was this iPad game that Touch Arcade liked a while back. It was a same device multiplayer game called Finger Tangle or Finger Gymnastics or something like that. Any ideas?
Both great. Very different games. You should really just youtube some videos and see what appeals more at the moment. If you wanted to know, I'd go Shadowrun.
I've 0.99 and I'm considering Contre Jour, Run Roo Run, and INOQONI. My primary choice is Contre, but the last time I tried the lite version, it consistently crashed on my iPhone 4 and I heard it had IOS 7 issues.
Contre jour is quite good, but I find the aesthetic is the main thing that sets it apart. Run Roo Run is kinda unneeded because of Galaxy Run. And INOQONI seems the most unique. I haven't played but impressions are positive, as you know I think INOQONI
I've been looking for great FPS multiplayers. So far I have MC4, NOVA3, SGDZ, and BB. Any other great ones?
You might also want to check out Air Supply -Infinite. It's kinda a endless runner in a way and it has 1 touch controls - a personal favorite of mine And yes Kings League Odyssey haha, my bad
