There all great games, but probably Dangerous. The thing with that game is the learning curve. Think of it as "The Real Deal" when comparing it to the other two. The 3 press quotes for Dangerous summarize it pretty well... "Dangerous is without a doubt (no, seriously) the most robust space adventure available for iOS right now." - 148apps.com "This game is like a mini "Starcraft" but unique in its own way from being a pirate, mining and more." - unboundgamer.com "...the hero’s exchanges with key story NPCs are consistently entertaining thanks to well scripted sci-fi humor, and the game’s wingman relationship system definitely comes through ... An astounding level of depth takes Dangerous where few space sims have gone before on iOS, offering factional allegiance and NPC partner systems that are sure to whet the genre fan’s appetite." - ifanzine.com" My only problem with the game was a control gripe (only inverted controls); however it's still a great game as I pushed myself through the inverted block for a little while. Unfortunately, I just can't do inverted controls so I'll resume playing when the fix comes. Here's the thread and it has a lot of dedicated players and the dev is extremely dedicated as well! http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=117572 I'd say GoF2 is second. Edit Gotta love all the 1 and 2 star reviews on the AppStore for Dangerous. I keep seeing great game, has potential, but needs some work. When you rate a game poorly, you thwart off potential buyers who will add to the revenue that supports updates. The game is supposed to be a full on experience and with all the bells and whistles that elite fans want. They probably tried to make the game as playable as they could on their budget and from what I played it's pretty d@mn good. Yes, there are some contrl and graphical issues, but look at the type of game you're playing. This is the "real deal". The devs are hard at work talking to people on this forum and trying to implement things...GOD, it must really suck being an indie dev.
I give Lunar Racer a big old meh. Meaning its pretty mediocre in my opinion. Its very polished, smooth, and looks good. The fun factor for me is just very minimal. Seems to me you should just get another awesome platformer since you obviously enjoy those... I don't see these on your list of favorites... Terra Noctis Crazy Hedgy Hook Champ series Wind-Up Knight 1-bit Ninja Sonic CD Not sure which of those are actually compatible on 2nd gens sorry.
Have you seen games from Donut Games? They're good and challenging. All of them are $.99 and sometimes free. Check them out.
.99 cents left--I don't know what to get, but I'm looking for something big. I have roughly 800MB left of space. Thinking about something strategy, rpg, or action. Any suggestions?
Just came to thank everyone who recommended Battleheart to me! Frickin' amazing game! Bought it few days ago, but had the chance to play only yesterday and today and already spent 3 hours on it! And to think I hate games with RPG-elements.
Hmm, now I'm interested as well. I usually hate RPG-type games but I've heard so much good word about Battleheart. What type of game is it, really?
This trailer shows gameplay pretty well. Sorry can't figure out how to embed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhZzrcrksY8

I'm looking for a turn based tactical or strategy game that has a good multiplayer community and can be played over multiple days. (something like UniWar or Civilization Revolution with multiplayer). It would be great if the game was skill based and balanced. P.S. Is there a thread here with turn based multiplayer games compiled?
^^ wut goofy said, even though some aren't multiplayer, they're really solid TBS's. I especially back up GLWG on that. Tactical Warrior is good too, simple graphics, but the game is awesome. It's got local hotseat multiplayer. Wesnoth is pretty awesome too, and its got a ton of content in it. and I mean a TON
YES! ----------------- For anybody wondering the best TBS/RPG on iOS is King of Dragon Pass! Very highly recommended to all Civilization and RPG fans.
