Any good side scrolling tower defense type of games I may have missed? Didnt really care for the Arel wars games, but I loved Army of darkness defense. For those that arent sure, its the kind of defense that relies on powering up armies and sending selected troops out to win the attrition war vs an oncoming horde.
Crystal War Pixel Kingdom Settlers of Tandria Legendary Wars Monster Wars Age of Myth Black Wings (top down instead of side scrolling) Warmongers 3 Armies Dwarves vs Orcs Swords and Soldiers Spartans vs. Zombies Defense (a ripoff of AoD Defense, but with a few differences in mechanics making it worthwhile to try) Dragon Hunter Defense Stop the Knights
Paladog. Pretty similar to Army of Darkness. On another note, any rhythm game recommendations. I've recently dug back into Groovecoaster. I tend to hate guitar hero type clones. Other ones I've played are Thumbies, Beat Hazard Ultra, and Beat Sneak Bandit.
Ending or Lums? Only have enough for a $0.99 game and I'm torn between these two games. On one hand, Endng sounds very unique and I enjoy roguelikes and chess. On the other, I really enjoyed Lum's free version and how it was an involved physics puzzler compared to Angry Bird's fling-and-forget style Both have gotten great impressions in the forums and good reviews
I'm looking for an online game with many active players. The genre of the game doesn't matter. I just want to hang into something...
So after I get Puddle, I'm planning on getting some older games I missed. What are the general impressions on 14px, Incoboto, Mage Gauntlet, and Ancient Frog?
any Restaurant Managers like Restaurant story? Hey guys, it's been a while. I'm looking for some Restaurant Managers like Restaurant story for my 5 year old. Would be awesome if you could help me out!
Best way to spend £3.77? Conversion guide 99c = 69p $1.99 = £1.49 $2.99 = £1.99 $4.99 = £2.99 Device is iPod 4
What are some good online/offline (meaning the game CAN also be played when not connected) town builder games for iOS?
Mage gauntlet I would wholeheartedly recommend. If you like the trailer/gameplay videos, there's no hidden "but then..." that screws the game up. It's all great. It's pretty long and there's loads of replayability. You'll want to play through it at least twice, and many many many more times if hats happen to be your thing. Basically, it's great. I don't know as much about Incoboto, but it's really a beautiful and atmospheric and you could easily immerse yourself in the game. No clue on the replayability, sadly. ...speaking of which, I should give it another go. Pixel People is pretty much the greatest.
Too many good choices! Along with Mage Gauntlet and Incoboto, now I'm also considering Pivvot and Knightmare Tower. And I can only get one!
