Every game in my signature. I use an iPad2, so generally whatever I can play can have fun with, you can
If you don't get Frozen Synapse, you're crazy. One of the best in the (sub?) genre. Also one of the best 6.99 I have spent on iOS. OH! Indiana Stone: The brave and the boulder!!!! Best BTB runner on iOS case closed. Polara also plays awesomely on a mini. I also +1 Crabitron.
It's been so long since I saw a post about Enviro-Bear, and this made me so happy. All I've been playing on my mini lately is KOTOR, and Rayman Legends
I'm not sure how playable Frozen Synapse is on the Mini. I'm sure some people are managing, but the text is small and blurry even on a retina iPad. Requires the occasional precise tap as well when you have a bunch of commands close together. I'd also recommend Brogue, but you might have similar issues there. It's an amazing roguelike though, and free.
This is giving me hell man, I hve 14 dollars left on my account. I wanted to buy Knights of the Old Republic after I finish The World Ends With You, but Final Fantasy Tactics HD suddenly goes on sale, but if I buy that then I wouldn't have enough mney for KOTOR? Should I buy Final Fantasy Tactics on sale or should I just buy KOTOR? What's the chance of KOTOR going on sale
KotOR isn't going to increase in price, while FFT will go back up once the sale is over. If you want both, and want to make the most of your money, grab FFT now, and KotOR later.
I know there is a great thread that keeps track of all the twin stick shooters but I'm looking for something specific: One where you actually progress through a level rather than arenas. Preferably with more mature/realistic visuals rather than the mini gore type games.
Thanks guys, downloading both now! Another request: Looking for an iOS game with online that has Call of Duty style unlocks/leveling etc. BUT doesn't have to be FPS-actually would prefer non-fps. Obviously there is Modern Combat but is there anything else?
Yep, I was going to suggest the same. There's also SAS 3: Zombie Assault, but it doesn't have PVP, just co-op. It does have leveling, unlocks, etc. though. And actually Bullet Time has online multiplayer as well. Also, I assume if you know about Modern Combat, you know about NOVA?
Thanks again. Deadlock looks interesting but a)It's described as free to play but has a .99 price tag....is there a free version to try out; how bad is the IAP;is it pay to win? b)The reviews are tough....buggy, crashes, unable to connect etc.
From my experience it was pretty pay to win. I had the cheap default guns and got my butt handed to me every round. Credits (or whatever currncy it uses) are hard to come by to get new guns. Goes free a lot which means that they're also playing pricing games. I'd recommend avoiding it.
