What kick ass twin stick shooters have you been playing? If not Meow Meow Happy Fight or Red Nova then consider picking those up; they're older but often overlooked.
Kingturn releases tonight and is an absolutely awesome SRPG. It's free to d/l and you can play the first 6 scenarios for free to see if you like the game. Then there is a single IAP full unlock for the other 67+ scenario ! The graphics from the characters to the environments and all the loot are beautifully drawn and the narrative is well written and gripping. I've been lucky enough to play a promo for several days and I think it's the best release of this year so far. I'm getting really dragged into levelling my awesome little team. The story tops off the quality SRPG gameplay. For fans of Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc its a no brainer. For none SRPG fans its easy to get into and has various difficulty levels to ease you into the fray. Check out Kingturn - releasing tonight. GOTY so far imo !
I totally agree; I don't think my iPod can handle much more Kingturn. It's an amazing and accessible strategy role playing game that is well designed creating a great sense of tactical variety with white knuckled battles. Kingturn is insanely good.
I've been playing DH4 and its fun but hard to play without paying. Are there any similar dungeon crawler types preferably not free or IAP?
The best premium alternative to Dungeon Hunter 4 might be Dungeon Hunter 2. A lot of the iOS games most similar to Diablo (and Dungeon Hunter) are actually KRPGs. Some of the better ones are CrimsonHeart and AurumnBlade (AurumnBlade is free but very balanced). Also consider Orc: Vengence or Devil May Cry 4 Refrain (DMC4R is actually not great but a guilty pleasure with similar gameplay, different theme). Underworlds is a legacy (old) app that use to get compared to Diablo a lot but I haven't play it much.
Some platformer recommendations, not necessarily a definitive top 3-5, include: Sonic CD Miss Claire Garden Super Crate Box (is a high score, not traditional platformer) Bean's Quest Curse of the Japanese Werewolf
Pizza Boy, Mikey Shorts, Cordy, Mos Speedrun, League of Evil, and 1-bit Ninja are good ones that haven't been mentioned yet.
Looking for a good Third person shooter, not max oayne as i tried that. I also have 9mm already. And maybe a good fighter.
Fighters: fight night, sf volt(awesome multi) , king of fighter I , and beatdown is pretty simple but cool game.
Shadowgun and Trigger Fist are good third person shooters. There's also GTA 3 and Vice City if you consider them as shooters. Talking about fighters, The King of Fighters-i 2012 is the best one on iOS imo.
Is Sword of Fargoal Legens worth buying ? I like retro RPGs, but not attracted to roguelike genre.Also is it retina enabled , hasn't been updated for long time
