Dragon Knight IV and Aurum Blade; both have freemium aspects (loke most KRPGs these days) but are fairly balanced.
So, in watching all of these previews for Star Command (and missing the FTL fix), I'm looking for a space themed ship-to-ship combat game. Are there any like that? Not so much with small fighter jets, but large battleships with an upgrade system. Or hell, I'll take any upgrade-like game suggestions right now. Pirate ships? Anything?
So many good games this week and April/May! So I'm definitely getting Gemini Rue this week Then Ill have $5.65 left Here are all the other games I'm anticipating: - First Wood War (11th) - Heavy Sword (11th) - Lumber Jacked (11th) - Garden of Fear (11th) - Star Command (April) - Stick Stunt Biker 2 (April) - War of the Zombie (May) - X Com (2013)
No Kingturn in your list ? Not a fan of SRPG I'm guessing. If the genre has any appeal at all I would reccomend putting it right at the top !
No, sorry. I prefer action RPGs and non-fantasy turn-based strategy and non-fantasy real-time strategy
I'd be curious to hear your impressions [of 5G widescreen KRPGs, Aurum Blade and Dragon Knight IV). Finding Teddy. Consider Galaxy of Fire or Star Trader RPG. With future releases it's probably too early to tell. I've played an early build of War of the Zombie and it has a lot of potential. Garden of Fear has a good pedigree with Smuttlewerk but no telling. Heavy Sword looks amazing but might suffer longer load times due to it's likely Game Salad origins. Star Command has gotten lukewarm reviews so far. You didn't mention Mighty Dungeons, which is a fun board game based dungeon crawler coming this week for $0.99. You ought to download Kingturn and give it a try if you at all like turn based strategy; it's amazing and will be a free download (with $4.99 IAP unlock). If you prefer "reality" based strategy then Hunted Cow Studio's has Tank Battle series (Tank Battle: North Africa [$1.99] or Tank battle: 1944 [$0.99]) and Civil War: 1863 [$1.99] on sale [as indicated] now.
GoF was a blast, though was more story-driven fighter-pilot style. I just downloaded Star Trader RPG, and will give it a shot!
I'd be curious to see how you find Star Trader RPG if you'd post in the thread; the discussion link is: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=170816
No they were two different questions I should have clarified that but yes with the graphics and the somewhat of the same gameplay
Rainbow 6 is decent, and Archetype doesn't have amazing graphics, but has great 6v6 gameplay Edit: Wait, how the crap do you have Blitz Brigade???
Space Miner. It only matches up to your specifitcations by 1) spaceship game and 2) upgrades, but it's got great gameplay, decent graphics and a crapload of humor and replayability.
After a couple kick ass twin stick shooters. Actually anything that is awesome and is twin sticks? Any recent goodies?
