Swordigo looks interesting & I really like RPGs, but I'm usually not good at platformers because I usually die really quickly - I'm bad at jumping. Are the controls forgiving, or are the jumps tricky?
Swordigo is a great game, you should definitely try it. Can anyone help me choose between Aralon or Ravensword?
I definitely want to give it a try, but wanting to pick the brains of those who already have it. Is the terrain tricky? Does it have a lot of "platformer" elements or is it more adventure/RPG focused?
I've been searching for a good 8bit RPG game. Best I could come up with was "Mage Gauntlet" which isn't such a bad find. If someone could suggest a good old school type RPG that would be great. Oh and leave out all the FF's and Chrono Triggers etc. cause there's a good chance I've already played those
Want to buy a new game 1000000 or ridiculous fishing.. I'm going on a bus ride and both games interest me but I only have enough for 1. So which is more fun which has the best gameplay which is longer?
They are both cheap and take up little space, so both. Caveat: I have 10000000 and didn't enjoy it...
They both have good replay value. Me personally, I'd go with 10000000 . Ridiculous fishing is fun but gets boring after the first time.
In that case, how about just downloading a few freemium games and playing each up till the point where it gets annoying or asks for money? Sonic Dash is free right now...
I play both and would reccomend 10000000 over Ridiculous Fishing. I think both are outstanding, though. You won't go wrong either way.
Cm'on, bloke says he's broke, so just play a few disposable freemium games for a bus trip and delete them when he's done. It's not that bad... Oh, you meant Sonic Dash. Silly me, yes agreed. Stinky pile that is. Deleted after three attempts at playing.
Have you seen/played Ash? It's a ff type jrpg with memorable characters and a fun story. Another is Cthulu saves the world, i havent played but it gets lots if love. Look into those 2. Stay far away from Ash 2 tho.
Any opinions/ impressions for Super Monkey Ball 2 : Sakura edition ? Getting mixed feeling from reviews, but as it is currently on sale I'm thinking of buying it.
Hey guys, new to this forum, i just got myself my very first apple product (an ipad) and was wondering what are some cheap games i can get, i tend to like mmo, rpgs, strategy, action, adventure and card type games, that are around Free - $3?? Don't wanna spend a lot on one app atm. I would check the app store for their "top" ones, but i prefer peoples personal interaction and suggestion what they like.
I hesitated to buy each of these and caved in. 10000000 is by far my favorite; upon buying it, I literally played for 2 hours straight. It's got completely different mechanics than Ridiculous Fishing, though - match 3/puzzle/RPG, whereas Ridiculous Fishing is more of an arcade game. From the Ridiculous Fishing thread, it sounds like there's a ton of gameplay to be had; 10000000 also lasted quite a while. It really depends on what you like to play - they're both excellent games with similar art styles, but personally 100000000 was to my taste whereas I've only played Ridiculous Fishing a few times. Check out TA's Best iPad Games, you can also browse their reviews by star. In this subforum - General Game Discussion - you'll find a lot of "best XYZ" lists. You can try searching "best" with a certain genre (IE: "best adventure") or just spend some time browsing the first few pages of the forum. You'll get a lot more info that way, the best way to start out IMO.
Best card game and arguably one of the best ios apps period is ascension. Just go read the thread, it's awesome.
Cheers mate, i'll check it out, Btw Any recommendation for games like Final Fantasy that's on iPad that isn't too expensive? Besides the actual FF games which are $17 haha or Chaos ring which is like $20
