    Ascendancy

Bought a game called Ascendancy on a whim right after i saw it going on sale in appshopper and viewing the screenshots. It turned out to be an unforgivingly addictive and impressive space sim/strategy. Surely one of the best games on my iPad though i never saw it getting mentioned anywhere. Are there other strategy games like Ascendancy or perhaps Age of empires?

I haven't played anything you're asking about, but there's a game called Legendary Heroes that's a strategy RPG - one that uses lanes, so it's like Plants vs Zombies only with knights. ;) It's cute and I enjoy it, and there's a "mirror" game by the same company called Monster Wars, which is supposed to be the same thing but from the opposite point of view. I'm not sure how big it is, but it's a great time-sink.

Also, if you haven't already, I'd recommend going to TA itself and finding some "best of" posts - there's the recent bunch that were best of 2012, then from 2011, and also some monthly ones. There's a tag for it, I think - if it's not "best of", it's something similar. It'd be a good way to see the cream of the crop without having to hunt down each individual title.

You might want to check out Legendary Wars and/or Monster Wars as well - described more above; lane defense strategy RPG.

The other one you might want to check out is Supermagical - I haven't played it myself (yet), but it's a bubble popper/adventure RPG hybrid that's supposed to be fun. It's free, too, so you can always check it out and then drop it. :)

In addition to Minigore 2, Beat Hazard Ultra is great, especially for those with large music libraries like myself (3000+ songs and rising).

Hello! I really need a suggestion here. I loved the first Zenonia, Wild Frontirr, and EpicHearts. I
Went to websites such as iosrpg.com to find more after the zenonia sequels disappointed me.

However , all the similar KRPG/action rpg games are ports of cellphone games with clunky interfaces and horrible iAP.

Anything similar to Zenonia WF and EpicHearts that Doesn't have a clunky interface or intrusive IAP?

Yes, they updated wit She Ra 7 i think the next one will include battle cat. Im starting to like games that exclude on-screen controlls which works well for me in thiz game.

Blockheads, Minecraft PE or Junk Jack?

What are the pros and cons of those games? Generelly I prefer the adventure aspect over the building aspect. And I am looking for easy and intiutive touch controls (this is prob why the 2D graphics of BH and JJ are more appealing to me).

Horn; AvP will likely be cheaper eventually.

I'm a big Super Hexagon nut. In fact, I find most games that challenge the player on a visceral, technical level quite irresistible.

I haven't played 1,001 attempts, but I'll be picking it up soon.

Aside from that, are there any games you can recommend for me, TA? :D

I'd recommend jj upon experience but mine craft is constantly updated and is shaping to match the pc experience, jj also has a new version coming out soon with added features and multiplayer for newer devices, no comment upon blockheads but looks genuinely good from positive reviews ect.

I already have Asphalt 7 but I want to try something new. Is Most Wanted better?

The Impossible Game is righ up there with Super Hexagon. I know exactly how you feel about games that are only challenging based on player skill.

Super Crate Box is also really good, but similarly to 1001 attempts you may have some issues with the touch controls.

Rayman Jungle Run can be really challenging and enjoyable as well if you restrict yourself to get 100 lums in every level. And the Livid Dead levels are enjoyably challenging :D
