Have you tried RAD Soldiers? Not the same graphic style, but a pretty decent game. There's also iWesnoth and Battle for Wesnoth - two versions of the same game (the first one is newer).

Hi all... my first post here, but been lurking for a few weeks and iOS gaming for about a year.

I have $4 USD left on a gift card (just got Penumbear and King Cashing 2!) and looking for something addictive to get on my iPhone 5!

Mostly wanting something with GC achievements, high quality (bug-free) and addictive gameplay, preferably something with a sense of progression (either leveling up or advancing through a story/levels). If possible, not too much currency grinding (or none at all) :p

For reference, some of my favorite iOS games are Dungeon Raid, League of Evil, Bean's Quest, Bricks of Camelot, Mutant Mudds, The Room, Bubble Pig (and many, many more!)

I love all types of games and am looking for something I just might not have really considered before, as long as it's high quality! I really just love gaming! XD

Thanks for any suggestions and I hope to be a contributing member of this awesome community from now on!

Penumbear just came out and is an offbeat platformer with loads of exploration. Highly recommended

Finding Teddy, perhaps, if you haven't checked it out.

And regarding my own search for something:

I have Penumbear, Heroes and Castles, and Miss Claire's Garden. All great suggestions, though! Keep 'em coming if anyone has any other suggestions XD

I actually have Bug Heroes, too XD

I guess since I have quite a few games already, I could list some of the things I was most closely considering:

    Astronot
    Mike and Milkbox
    Magic Orbz
    Puzzle Restorer
    Zaga 33
    NyxQuest
    Karoshi
    Organ Trail
    Joe Danger
    Super Crate Box
    Bad Hotel
    Stardust Hero
    1001 Attempts
    True Skate
    Pixel Defenders Puzzle
    Ziggurat
    He-Man
    4nr

If anyone gives any of these their personal recommendation, I'll pick up however many equals out to $4 USD, as it's hard for me to choose which to get XD Although I'm still always up for any recommendations of other games. Thanks again!

Super Crate Box and Pixel Defenders Puzzle are essential; everyone should own Super Crate Box and Pixel Defenders Puzzle.

Zaga-33 is a fun but limited high score abstract roguelike, worth $0.99, but might not be for everyone due to short play time per trial. 1001 Attempts is good but very simple and inferior (in my opinion) to the more elaborate but similar Super Crate Box. Organ Trail is a fun novelty.
+1; definitely grab Crazy Bill. I'd put it up there near Super Crate Box.
