Thanks for that compliment and good will wishes :)

My Familly came over to visit me at my flat. Went to see the film Jack Reacher, showcase cinemas booked us into wrong film, gave refund but wouldnt even check other cinemas for us haha. Odeon was good though we went there instead after the 'fun' so it turned out well in the end.

Time to check some of these game suggestions. A couple I have but that tells me the ones suggested here are all good!

Must be something good to pick from hehe :)

Happy birthday to you, and to me, it's my birthday too, hahaha. :D

Anyway, I have been playing Motorblast and fricking enjoyed it so far. Totally fun, no story telling, no reason, no plot. Just you, your big guns, and opponents to destroy, or beat. Try it, I think you'll love it.

Get Dungelot for sure. You can't believe how a 2D game with a simple gameplay can be that fun.

Grab Muffin Knight too, it fits all the criters you mentioned.

Definitely yes. It's addictive, simple and has good tactical elements and different characters. I can guarantee you will be very surprised by it; I wasn't expecting a 2D Dungeon Crawler to be amazingly fun.

I would wait a few updates in to get it.he fixed a problem only to have another problem ( its rare) plus after the update the two characters that were unlocked got locked again.

Not compatible with my iPhone 4 though. It does look sweet.

  10. Then get Swordigo. Great game.

And you also like strategy games? Give RAD Soldiers a try.

A good somewhat mix of both is Cartoon Wars II: Heroes.

Zaga 33 gave me an easy entry point to roguelikes. So what should be next:

    100 Rogues?

    or

    Sword of Fargoal?

(I know Dungelot seems really popular around here, but I just can't get into the idea of not seeing a character move around.)

Games I suggest. Gems that go under the radar.

    Not in any specific order.
    1. UltraViolet Dawn - omg, go where you want in space, battle and trade items. Upgrade ship or buy new one. Amazing game from Sad Cat Software.

    2. Pixely People Making Movies - pixeled fun creating movies in a movie studio.

    3. Katamari Amore - complete console quality katamari game on the go. You don't hear much about it. Amazing.

    4. Robotek - Amazing turn based robot battle game.

    5. Ballistik - I caught this when it was free. Dunno if it is anymore but it's amazing defense game.

    6. Earth and Legend - amazing open world rpg. Reminds me of the pc game Gothic.

    7. Blade Of Darkness - an rpg much like world of Warcraft. Has single player and multiplayer. Graphics match WOW to the T.

    8. Cardinal Quest - a simple yet fun rpg.

    9. BioDefense - A long forgotten defense zombie game. Awesome.

    10. Corporate Fury - Open world go wherever you want fighter. Roam around and get into battles with others, which it then enters into an arena type mode. Earn cold hard cash and upgrade everything. A rare gem worth anyone's attention.

    11. Fortune Series - Rebirth of Fortune, Sorcerer of Fortune and Defense of Fortune. All amazing games. Each one is a different style of gameplay from the next. Ranging from defense to match 3 puzzle. Worth owning the whole series.

    12. Hector Badge of Carnage - get the whole series you bloody wanker! Seriously, will be the best money spent on app store. Amazing.

    13. Machine World - Oh my glob, open world sandbox game where you use contstruction vehicles to do whatever you want. Amazing on an iPad. This game is my top 5 games you must own. Super fun and brings out that kid in you.

    14. Rock(s)Rider - why doesn't this game get more coverage? If you loved trials 2 on Xbox or pc then you will love rocks rider. Not sure why they separated the s......maybe because it's SUPER!

    15. Battrix - dear god above this game is soooo long and enjoyable. Pissed off my wife many a night ignoring her and playing Battrix. Which means it is worth it!

    16. Blade Angel - wow talk about a rewind....yes blade angel still rocks it. Retro style side scroll beat em up rpg. Angel say wha??

    17. Nightmare of Vampire (US) - very simple in its design but mega loads of fun. Arena rpg ass kicker. Grind that character! As in level them up not the other way....

    18. Legend Four - holy crap I have spent many moons playing this game. It's a match em style rpg similiar to Dungeon Story. Get it.

    19. I Dig It Series - amazing. Hours lost. Great replay value. If you get it you will be angry.....angry you didn't get it already!

    Ok last one...let's make this a goodie....ummm...
    20. Touchgrind - nothing beats Touchgrind. Every idevice I have ever owned for many years always has Touchgrind on it. Paid 2.99 years ago for it and never regretted it. Can't wait for part two.

Here's a special entry, one that holds close to my little heart. This game stomps mine craft in every way. Fun for the whole family including the dog.

    99. Junk Jack - side scrolling mine craftesque type game. Dig, build, or use the dupe glitch to copy your items lol. Never will an idevice I own NOT have this game installed. Paid 2.99 for it by accident one day and decided to give it a try. Best accident I ever made....well, besides saying I do. (sorry honey, I love you!) clears throat.

Solid list, OneHit. Lotsa games I had never heard about in there.

However Bug Heroes should be in there. Best free game on the App Store!

Hey guys. Looking for something beautiful, creepy and fun to play. Preferable something not too light. I like adventure, Rpg.. Anything really. I have infinity blade, swocery, bastion and punch quest.

Anything maybe with a party system and permanent death? Thanks all!

Party system and perma death? Tiny troopers has something like that, very fun game.

    Walking Dead is a must-have.

Bladeslinger, if you have a compatible device and are willing to put up with the controls. $2 I believe.

Wild blood, Mass Effect and Shadowgun all come to mind, but each have their quirks. None are "cheap" though, $7

Ravensword 2 can be played in the third person and is excellent. $7

Gameloft's Batman and Spider-Man games are both pretty good, but I recommend TASM over batman, better combat. $7 each and open world.

The grand theft auto and Gangstar games are open world and third person. Action oriented. Recommend Vice City. $5 for GTA, $7 for Gangstar.

Yup, solid list here. I personally recommend The Dark Knight Rises over TASM, just couldn't get into TASM.
