Mass "What Should I Get?" Thread (2012 - 2017)

Not sure why they're not showing up for some, maybe you're not worthy.

 

I couldn't see them before, but now I can. Luna Bears and Matchblocks are great. I was sad that I couldn't play Eek when it came out because I thought it looked great. So, I guess I'll check out the other two games on the list. Sad to say that I hadn't even heard of them.

 

Hi everyone.

I currently have 4.91$ in my iTunes account, and I'm contemplating what to buy.
My birthday is mid-feb upon which I'll have about 100$ added to my account, but until then this is all the money I'll have.
-I'm currently looking at fieldrunners 2, Contre Jour, and world of goo the most.
But, I don't know if there will be a release that I will REALLY want, but will have to wait to buy.
Here are some games I really love, to give you an idea of my taste:

Art style and atmosphere is important to me, and I generally don't like (for a lack of better description) "over-cartoony/childish Characters."

If anyone could list games I might enjoy, within the price range, I would very much appreciate it.

I'm looking for a puzzle game that costs .99 and supports my iPod 5 widescreen. I already have the well-known ones like Angry Birds and some others.

 

If art and atmosphere are important to you, then grab Nihilumbra for sure.

 

World of goo is really, really fun. I suggest that.

 

Blockhead is coming next week and is sorta like junk jack so wait for that plus free. Get battleheart and the free game fantasy adventure.

Mutant Mudds!!!

 

On my school break. Just picked up Walking Dead, Dungeon Village, Bastion, FF4, and Wild West Squid this month. Also redownloaded Junk Jack and Aralon.

I must say Junk Jack and Dungeon Village are my most played game so far. Havent been this addicted since the Kingdom Rush and Bug Heroes. Are there any other game like Junk Jack?

Also should I get Minimon? I just played GeoSociety and beat that game so it was an okay game. Also played Zenform but it's lacking content. Can Minimon offer something that is better than GeoSociety and last longer than Zenform?

Just got a new iPad, looking for some suggestions on games, and any other app for that matter.

Already picked up The Room, Bastion, Machinarium & Incoboto. Also have most of the must-have smaller device games, but any suggestions are welcome.
