Don't really like GTA 3. Sort of boring for me.

I'm thinking maybe Dead Trigger? I want it with multiplayer though. (Bluetooth/local/online)

I'm looking to pick up $8-$10 worth of iPhone games tonight. At the moment, I'm interested in quick pick up and play games (considering Zuma's Revenge since I love Popcap), any games with RPG characteristics (but I'm not looking for a full-blown RPG), games for 2-3 year olds (just picked up the new Duck Duck Moose game about trucks), and really anything fun that can kill some time.

Basically, I'm not looking for anything too heavy. Even Defender Chronicles 2 (from someone who spent countless hours on the original) didn't hold my attention all that long. Although Swordigo kept me coming back long enough.

I'm not sure, but warm gun is alright. Fps shooter with offline and online. Four classes, each with two weapons an a grenade. Real racing is also good. I'm still looking for other games though. You could also try searching up Lambdamu games. They're like puzzle game thing. They all require the good ol' strategy.

I don't know if runners are your thing, but those are some of my personal favourites that are pick-up-and-play

Isn't there a 3d game that plays like super crate box? Anyone know what it's called?

You're probably thinking of Muffin Knight.

    • Spellsword is currently free (Muffin Knight-esque RPG)
    • Tower of Fortune (Slots RPG)
    • Dungeon Raid (though I'm sure everyone has this one by now)
    • Dead Trigger (Zombie FPS)

All great pick-up-and-play games -- none demanding your attention for long, though you may end spending a ton of time with 'em anyway.

    Whoa!

Heck yeah it's worth it at that price. As long as you know what you're getting into. It's a long, story driven action-RPG that can definitely have more story and crafting than action if you want it to.

I payed full price for it and haven't regretted it at all. But I'm not incredibly far yet either. For me, it took the place of the never-updated crash-fest Crimson Gem Saga.

If you get it, hope you enjoy!

Thanks J6U. I have both RR games. The sequel is on my phone but I never play it for some reason. I also refuse to delete because I know how awesome it is. Maybe I just suck at it and that's why I don't play it. I will check out Warm Gun and Lambdamu. Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendations. Haven't heard of eBoy FixPix but I'll take a look. I bought one of the Hook games and liked it but eventually deleted it before finishing it. Is Hook Worlds better than the first 2? I have Solipskier but never bought Pathpix. Isn't that the one with the numbers? If so, I had the lite version but never got the full version. Maybe I need to consider that since the lite was really good. I think I just get hesitant getting old games. Haha. But which one do you recommend since there are now 4 (not including the lite)?

Picked up Spellsword and played it for a few. Seems fun so far. Hopefully I don't get bored with it too quickly. I vaguely know about the others but not enough. Is Dungeon Raid really that good?

And on a side note, is Zuma's Revenge worth $2? I had Atlantis Sky Patrol which I think is almost identical.

Not really understanding how the gameplay works fully, I get the sense that it's a combination of a matching game with Sword and Poker RPG elements. Am I close?

Yep, exactly that. A blend of RPG and match-3. I highly recommend the game if you like RPGs at all (I don't care for match 3s but this game hooked me in with the RPG elements)

There's also a lite version if you're still on the fence.

Can anyone recommend any games similar to Final Fantasy but with multiplayer of some sort? If no multiplayer thats fine too.

I prefer the game to be free to cheap ($.99 - $2.99).

Already have Zenonia series & Spellsword.

Thanks. Grabbed the lite and am enjoying it a lot. Will give it a couple days to see if it sticks with me.
