Ironically enough, they just released an update for that and new added features. I had the same problem with loading the game but first try after the update, no problems!
Hey Core! (its me okayyy from mc3 pal groups) I always suggest Kairosoft games for road trips, because they're addicting, don't eat much battery, and last for hours. The obvious ones you should get are Game Dev Story and Mega Mall Story, but then it goes down to personal preference. I'd say stay away from Hot Springs Story and that Racing one, they're pretty boring.
I recently got an iCade and discovered how much fun it is to play Temple Run together with my 8yo (one person jumps and dives, the other turns). So, any other recommendations for iCade same device games that could be played by two people that is not too hard? (I like Blast Ball and Chrono&Cash too, for example, but that's too much coordination for us play together. And we both love Silverfish Max, but there's no two player possibility there). I just got Baby Monkey (going backwards on a pig) for free. I think that might work too, though it's a shame it is an iPhone only game. Would love more suggestions, preferably of games that are not endless runners. Or is there an iCade thread that's better for iCade specific questions?
Could you guys explain a little bit about what makes Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery so good? Visually it looks super awful every time they post a screenshot on TA. Also I generally play games without any sound at all, so an incredible soundtrack does nothing for me. Subtitles are a must. But having said that, I don't want to miss out on a great game, if this really is one. Thanks!
I dunno I didn't find it to be that great, all you do is go around exPloring and stuff. I could never get into it.. Also has anyone Played kingdom rush( I'm wondering why it's ranked so high on the app store). I was goin to to get it but the lack of any news here leaves me unsure, so if not this game what are some good or the best games where you build and then go fight and such?
I think S&S still plays pretty well even without sound. The dialogue is all on-screen, so that isn't a problem. For me, the things that make S&S super enjoyable are its humor, its unique and amazing art style (really it's a matter of opinion whether you like the art or not), and the interesting storyline. The best advice I can give is, don't get it if you don't plan on enjoying it for what it's worth and getting drawn into the story. Don't expect to get a super deep RPG out of it either, because it really isn't much of an RPG. It's definitely exploration focused. There are battles, but the main focus in the battles is to remember when to dodge/attack and whatnot. It's a definite buy for me. Since you don't like the art style, I'd say...it's still a definite buy.
Kingdom Rush is just an incredibly polished and amazing TD game. It's probably my personal favorite strategy/tower defense title for iPad. The towers and upgrades are simple yet incredibly deep. It also has great replay value in that there are several more modes to try out after beating each course. It was also originally a flash game so you can try it out on your computer before buying. For 99 cents, this game is a fantastic deal.
Opinions Please Ok so I guess no one saw my question so I'll ask again because tomorrow I'm gonna go to Rite AID and get two $10 ITunes gift cards. I play soccer so I'm looking at FIFA 12. But someone said FIFA 11 has multiplayer. Which one should I get? Also I had N.O.V.A. as a PSP MINIS. It was cool. Never got the second on here. But is the third worth it? I need the rest of my money for music. Linkin Park and Mindless Self Indulgence for the win!
First I'd advise waiting for a sale on the FIFAs unless you really can't wait (there'll probly be an independence day sale soon). If you want local multiplayer go '11, if you want a manager mode and a slightly better game go with '12. If you don't have any friends or family that'd play it with you (on bluetooth/local wifi) it's a mute point for FIFA '11. Neither of them have online mp.
Thanks bro. No one around me can play it with me, so I'll go with FIFA 12. I'll wait for it too. Thanks for that I would've wasted some value. You want to know something? I was gonna get MC3 tomorrow but the sale dropped! Wtf it's $6.99 again. Really?! Can people tell me about N.O.V.A. 3 please? Thanks.

Really loved The Quest, haven't seen much like it since... Hey guys. New to TA but you all seem like a bunch of cool people. Anyways, I loved The Quest and all of its 12 or so expansions, and I was wondering if there was more stuff like it on the App Store? I'd prefer good controls over graphics, and I really liked the exploration part of that huge RPG. Basically, the closest I can get to Elder Scrolls on iOS, the happier i'll be. Got any suggestions? Edit: I got an iPod 4th gen, so not really any technological performance problems for most games.
Ok. Wow I just realized I completely said the wrong game... I meant Kingdom STORY and not rush, sorry for the mix up.. There's so many games I gEt them mixed up... Kingdom rush is the iPad td game that's suppose to be coming to the iPod soon. The game I mean to say kingdom story is ranked almost in the top ten on iPhone section and theres a thread here I think but no posts.. So has anyone played this game? ( sorry for the mix up)
Yeah, another vote for Aralon. It's absolutely the closest thing to Elder Scrolls on iOS. Controlling the camera is a bit clumsy in my opinion, but it's manageable. Ultimately, it's an excellent facsimile of that series -- surprisingly deep and enjoyable.
