Oh my jeebus. Starbase Orion is more addicting than crack. I've been playing it since about 6 P.M or so and it is now 3:16 in the Morning Well, I'm off to bed. Peace.
Just acquired an iPhone 4.. What games are must haves? I'm talking anything from the last few years that people have loved. Thanks =)
Shadowgun, Bullet Time HD, Epoch., Super Crossfire, Modern Combat 3, Perfect Cell, Splinter Cell Conviction, Jetpack Joyride, Subway Surfers, Swordigo....
I'm going on a 3-4 hour plane ride to Florida. Need some game recommendations for the ride there and some casuals to help me get through the wait times for rides in Disney. Thanks
I nabbed Plague myself yesterday after seeing the recommendation in this thread. There's hours of play so you should be set if you like that sort of games. (Side note: I got a gift copy for a friend but I was too late so if you are keen to trade for it...) For casuals, Bumpy Road is quite nice.
I already have pandemic.. Is there much of a difference between that and plague? I already have bumpy road so maybe I'll re-download it.
Dungeon Raid, Angry Birds (of course), Starbase Orion (if you like strategy games.), Tiny Wings, NOVA 3 (Like Halo), Modern Combat 3 (like CoD.), 9out (the best puzzle game ever ) Temple Run (Free), Subway Surfers (Free) I think that's good for now.
The other suggestions have all been great. To add: Super Crate Box Dungeon Hunter 2 Sword and Sworcery Axon Runners Ski Safari Frisbee Forever Junk Jack Bike Baron The Heist (really difficult puzzles) Pocket RPG Aralon Contre Jour HD The Blocks Cometh Mini Motor Racing Skies of Glory Air Supremacy Dead Space New Orbit These are all pretty amazing. Any specific type of game you are looking for?
Gameplay-wise, the two games are very much the same type of thing, but in terms of design, Plague is just so much better. It's more intuitive, prettier, the map system is more practical, and the interface is much easier to use. Once you try Plague, you won't be able to go back to Pandemic.
I rarely ever get IAP but I went out to buy a £25 voucher today to get the highest level IAP in pocket planes. But I stopped myself when I saw how easy it is for other people (not me) to hack to get millions of bucks through simple script kiddie file changing. I don't think it's good to do stuff like that but I think it's actually worse for companies to pray on people conscience like mine to cough up and pay. As much as I love the game I changed my mind on that moral basis. Not only that but the leader boards are messed up now. (to make it clear I do Really like this game, just disagree with that problem) SO now I have an extra £25 iTunes voucher and I came here to ask for recommendations of what to get with it? I'm sure I can get better value out of it through 10-25 new games than IAP in one app that is known for resetting data LOL! Any ideas? OH: It can be mac/iPhone or iPad suggestions. What about the new X3 game on the mac app store? Is it much better than Terran Conflict enough to pay the price tag over when I already have TC?
Looking for decent RPG games that would last a while. I have already played the Zenonia series and the Inotia series. Thanks
have you ever played destinia by gamevil? Kept me playing for a long time, probably would have kept playing but I lost my save during a restore. Highly suggest you pick it up!
I agree with this. I started out with Pandemic but when I started on Plague...it is exactly like one playing a game on an ipad and never going back to play games on the iphone. I heard Plague has all those Pandemic never had cos after all it 'built' upon it.
I'd recommend the original Illusia by Gamevil, I played that one obsessively for a long time. It's basically a 2-d platformer Zenonia. It also came before Gamevil got into the whole freemium method, therefore there isn't too much IAP to worry about (I never felt the need to get what was available anyway).
