Geo Society is an awesome Pokemon clone. Worth the $2 considering it's the only thing on the iOS even remotely close to Pokemon. It's a good game either way.
The IAP's are to upgrade parts on the ship. They are not necessary at all though, as you earn credits to do this in game by doing well on levels. As for modes, there's only the story mode. There are 3 sets of levels with different "themes" that have 6 levels each (so 18 levels total). Actually, though I wouldn't call it a mode, there is the option to turn on AR "mode", which uses the camera on the back of your device (if it has a camera) to make the real world the background in the game. It's actually pretty neat (although controlling in that mode gives you a workout ). Sorry for my late response, I slept in
Just keep telling yourself that buddy. Okay now that we have entered the 2000 page I must bump my question for the second time today. How is HungryMaster?
GarageBand does not need a computer to use. It can record up to 8 tracks of audio and also has built in instruments that you can play.
I'm looking for some really simple but addictive games. Games that are relaxing but which still require some thought. A few examples would be PathPix, Arcade Solitaire: Tritowers, and Coin Drop.
Try some of Kairosofts games like Game dev story and Pocket Academy. IMO they are the best simple but addictive games ever. Also maybe try Mighty Fin
Can't give you my opinions but you should at least use google for your first resource: http://appadvice.com/appnn/2011/07/quickadvice-hungrymaster or the TA thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=99400 Responses are pretty positive though. Looking forward to your impressions
Okay!! Thanks for the resources will probably be picking this up. What would you suggest for a first cave game....I know but theve just been so absurdley expensive and I always miss the sales
Everything? Anyway, I would regard all of them as 'bullet hell' in general. DDP:R and ESP:2 are your typical vertical bullet hells, Bug being a top down twin stick shooter (with the more bullets thrown at you than any other TSS) and Deathsmiles transitioning from vertical format to horizontal one. Controls are pretty similar in the 3 shumps. Relative touch has never worked better. I don't appreciate the inaccuracy of digital twin stick controls so I won't comment on Bug (it's the game's concept that didn't appeal to me, not the controls). If you were to pick between the 3 bullet hell shumps, it would most likely fall between the game art and certain gameplay features. DDP:R - sci-fi-ish with mainly robotic bosses/enemies. ESP:2 - (Final? ) fantasy. DS - fantasy. Unique features (not listing everything): DDP:R - hyper cannon, slaughter (powered up attacks) or menace (graze bullets to increase multiplier), hidden collectable items, alternative mid-bosses, 'second route' (playing through the entire game twice with hidden boss in one session). ESP:2 - 'awakening' - tap enemy bullets to convert into points and prolong duration of current mode. A shield, releasing it will launch some pretty strong attacks. DS - RPG ELEMENTS! Equipable items that influence your character stats (iPhone mode). Em horizontal side scrolling, can turn character to face two directions. Under-aged princesses? (I'll not play this game near one of my friends...) Bug: nup. No really a shump and didn't dig it as 'hard' as other games. Won't comment on that one. Then of course with the existence of lite versions for all their games, I would suggest you to try *all of them*.
Wow............You sir just made my day. Downloading all the lites now. Which one is your favorite? Do these stats in DS help you get better scores and etc on the leaderboards?
Em I'll go DDP:R. I'm a much bigger fan of explosions, lasers, scrap metal and transforming robots (if you haven't noticed ). The hyper cannon is a beast to watch, plus I don't really care about highscores so I tend to stick to slaughter mode and slaughter/blow up everything . ESP:2 gave me some deja vu, but it was sufficiently different to DDP:R. However at times I still couldn't help but think "I've seen this before!" Deathsmiles is my current obsession mainly because it's new and it's got equipments that I want to equip . And yes equipments give you stat bonuses and they do matter. And did I mention no screen orientation option and parallax scrolling FTW?
