What are some good dual stick shooters, with a story, for boss fights for iPad.

I have bug heroes, and it's fun. Am bummed that solomon's keep and bug panic aren't available for iPad :(

virtual ping pong sucks balls no matter how well it is implemented. it just doesn't work. no matter what, there are so many factors and ways to hit the ball that virtual table tennis just can't capture even close to that, escpecially with touch controls. if you wanna play ping pong, get a table or go to someplace with it. with iOS as awesome as it is, your money is better off elsewhere.

How does Chroisen compare to the awesome (and free :D) Wild Frontier?

Speaking of dual stick shooters the SD version of Meteor Blitz just went free for a day.

Bug Heroes, which you already have, is the cream of the crop; but try:
Lara Croft & Guardian of Light HD - pricey but worthy (not sure why this is so over looked)
Meow Meow Happy Fight HD - no story; but one of my favorite DSS
Age of Zombies - some zany nonsense plot with boss battles but shining survival mode
Red Nova - no story or boss but fun space drift mechanics for $0.99

Others to consider I haven't gotten to yet myself are Alien Space [On $2.99->$0.99 sale], PewPew 2, Revolt, Max Adventure, & RobotNGun HD
Check out this listing of iOS DSS games

+1; If you're into these definitely check out Pirate's Treasure by same developers (it has boss battles with story).
Guerilla Bob is fun and plot driven; Minigore (no story or boss) is maligned by broken promises allowing other DSS outlap it.

It's pretty disappointing, unfortunately. It's a very obvious cell phone port, super clunky controls and all. Great graphics, but bad music and definitely not as in depth as Wild Frontier. :(

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light HD is definitely what you're looking for.

Real Racing HD or Real Racing 2 HD? I like racing games... but they arent exactly my favourite. But am tempted because I hear RR2 looks awesome on iPad 2. I have it on my iPod 3rd gen and is fun. Am wondering if I should pick up RR2 HD while it's 3 bucks cheaper.

    Any suggestions

Just got £15 iTunes card, thinking of getting peggle, carcassonne and strategery. Any other recommendations? Also saving £3 for grand prix story.

Currently free RPG recommendations are Dungeons & Such, Wild Frontier, Undercroft, LAR (Children of Pandora), and GeoMonsters [there's an amazing amount of free stuff this weekend].

For role-playing app listing check out Rpg-site.com. Some recent worthy RPGs are...

Traditional JRPGs (turn based exploration): Ash, Crimson Gem Sage, Final Fantasy(s)
Strategy RPGs: Knighturn, Pantheon Cycle, Fatal League
Action KRPGs: Fantastic Knight, Secret of Mana, Zenonia(s)
Western RPGs (first person exploration, more action): Xenome, Aralon

In addition to Final Fantasy Tactics there's a bunch of promising RPGs on the horizon like Dragon Fantasy, Guardian Saga, and Time of Heroes so it might be worth holding back a few bucks.

Over the last few weeks while no good new games have come out i've been compiling a list of games that look interesting and might be worth buying. From this list which are worth getting.

    Dungeon Defender
Galaxy on Fire 1/2- Would like for this one to go on sale as $10 is a bit much
Superbrothers S&S- Not sure if i'll like this one after seeing gameplay videos
    Mushimesama Bug Panic
    Landapanda
    World of Goo
    Dinosmash
    Bumpy Road
    Sword & Poker
    Zombie Smash

Edit: Also does anyone know of a game like Sid Meir's Pirates? I think that would be a great game on idevices.

Has anyone played Galaxy on Fire 1? I loved the second one and am thinking of giving number 1 a spin but would like your input first.

    Thanks :)
