Lol! Ok I guess I'll wait on omega and get first one while it's on sale. That's a big sale seeing that it was $12.99. Btw the sale goes on until May 27.
LOL - anywhere you haven't posted this yet? ;D On topic - i'm drooling for all the wrong reasons to take advantage of the 4.99 Chaos Rings iPad sale - though I never even enjoyed the game when I played it at my friend's place. On the other hand, I DID enjoy FFIII. Crazy, eh? Meh.
The main advantage I can think of for getting Omega now is that you can level up along with the updates... I think it'd be more likely to encourage you to return each month for the new content than if you bought it in 6 months time and blasted through the entire thing. Not a huge deal but some might prefer it this way.
For someone who plays and deletes, that's definitely not preferred. Such a method is generally unheard of for single player games, especially a RPG. Don't want to spoil any of the story so I'm going to finish up Chaos Rings first, eventually xP. Saving some money for now I guess.. Edit: Only spent...$7 total today..meh. Weird. We'll see if anything else shows up on Apple's featured list this week tomorrow.
I'll pick up the first chaos rings first I guess (probs ipad version). But gah is FFIII not on sale? It's getting harder and harder to wait :'(
Wait until FTT comes out sometime between June and July, or mid-July latest. Definitely get Chaos Rings though.
How do you mean? I had Fallout 3 and Borderlands in mind... I stopped playing them, they both got DLC with a level cap increase and I jumped right back in for the new stuff
Sorry, been out of console gaming for quite some time now. The past few years have revolved around the PSP, DS, iPod Touch, and now the 3DS as well, heheh. Referring to portable gaming, mostly iOS games where you delete the game, and there's memory card xP.
I read the original chaos rings' graphics don't really change between the iphone and ipad version. Is this true?
Soooo which one should I get? The 2X version of the iphone version of the ipad, or the iPad native version?
Bumpy Road, Storm in a Teacup, and Orions 2 were all competent games from what I've played. Definitely some good purchases today. Bumpy Road is no doubt my favorite release this week. Well, I didn't purchase Chaos Rings Omega, so yeah. Anyways, can't wait to try out the Infinity Blade multiplayer tomorrow. Good night for now xP.
If you only have an iPad then get the native version. I don't think you can upscale retina for an iPad anyway, it would just use the non-retina graphics or something and look worse. ...I think. I don't use iPads much.
so... what are some good new games which have come out? any suggestions? I got bumpy road, but I don't see whats so great about it... I wish the screen would scroll when you do, rather than it moving at a fixed rate.
If you don't like Bumpy Road then no one can help you Have you had a look at Storm in a Teacup? More of a platform game. Orions 2 for TCG fans, but probably better if you don't own Orions 1, Chaos Rings Omega for RPG fans, Candy Train is free so it's worth a try... ...going back slightly we've got House of Mice, 7 Little Words for fans of Moxie, Catch the Candy, Snuggle Truck, Mos Speedrun, Grove Keeper (I think a lot of people missed that), Frisbee Forever (also free but with IAP), Foodies... I'm really just listing games here. Did you want something specific?
