MC2 was indeed the last game supported by the 2nd generation from Gameloft. It's been over half a year since then. If you want an AMAZING rts, get Red Conquest. Still the best one in my opinion, hands down. LASW is also a pretty good one. These two and StarFront are the best three you'll find on the iOS.
oh and land air sea warfare, is it really good. (sorry, i really want an rts for ipod) and armada? (don't judge me )
Nova 2. But im glad gameloft is dropping support because that might be the sign of some bigger changes to their recycled patterns (don't get me wrong here, they make great games). Already the announcement of them using the unreal engine is huge.
We are talking about the same thing here right ? Nova 2, with massive multiplayer, and giant red dog I could not beet on the last level of the campaign. Yeah that one. I played on my first gen iphone. Clearly says on itunes store, requires 3.1.3 and up, no other restrictions. ????
Hm, that was the last one then. I remember Shadow Guardian came out at the beginning of December and didn't support the lower generations.
Yeah but Nova and MC2 are their biggest brands so they probably new they could get and wanted sale from all generations. It also looks better on their part when they keep their most anticipated games available to their full range of customers. I hope they drop support for them be the time they are doing 3rd generation games. I thought I might have had the last 1g on earth, there is no way the 1g users are sizeable enough now to support that generation.
