I'm prepared for a bit of flaming, but as a phone OS, I like Android better. But I'll never let go of my ipad and ipod touch for the apps (android doesn't even come close to the quality)
Lol that much has been established by nearly every site comparing the two. No hard feelings. It's another reason why I don't use the iPhone, but keep my iPod and phone separate. The Android definitely has some cooler features as far as bulit-in capabilities go, plus the ability to use SD chips, but the Android marketplace can't even touch the AppStore's ass. I like the lock on the Android the most -_-..In any case, I'm not sure what this all has to do with Apple being first though, lol. The combined sales of the iPad and iPhone don't even make up half of the revenue that Apple takes in. Edit: I just noticed, but why does the Graal thread have more views and nearly as many posts as this thread? Lol..holy shit.

Warpgate is free now by the way! Awesome gameeeee, space trader/combat just like GoF2, but a little less class. Was some big stuf at the time.
It holds your hand far too much, and I couldn't get into it. Starfront: Collision is a much better purchase. And the controls are poorly done, the graphics are blah... yeah, get Starfront.
It's decent, but it's not perfect. There are times when it's difficult to keep track of everything - you have so many buildings and units, and there are times when units get hidden by buildings and other units, making them difficult to see. And then there's the issue of trying to place buildings - you're limited by the terrain, so when you have a full town, suddenly you run out of space very quickly (and exploring more takes time). I played a couple scenarios, but got tired of it. If you're really into civ games, then you may like it more (I tend to prefer RTSs over civs/sims). You can try the lite version to see if it interests you, though it doesn't go very far into the gameplay.
The game is not a very conventional RTS, especially for the iPod screen. I'd go for something like StarFront, Red Conquest, LASW, or Warfare Inc. instead. I guess this game takes fifth place though as far as iOS RTS go. Wish some more developers could try, but the size of the screen is a hindrance in many guesses I guess. Anyways, Red Conquest and StarFront are my top choices if you're getting a RTS on the iOS.
Does anyone know if any notable releases are coming this week? Hope it's not like last week again :[... And again I ask, how the heck did Doodle God get to number 5 on the paid charts, with Doodle Devil at 23 as well? Apple's new formula for calculating the top charts must really have been significant. Hmm, looks like Archetype is back from the dead as well. Guess I can catch a few rounds of that again sometime. Oh, and of course, Fast and Furious? Being one of the earliest racers and one of the crappiest in present terms, what in the world is it doing in the top 15 again?..also, Stickman Cliff Diving..at least everything else looks pretty normal.
I've played stickman cliff diving on a friends ipod. I'm a bit ashamed to admit it, but I really really wanna get it.
The online dog-fighting thing will definitely be out, and hopefully Bumpy Road as well. About F&F: lots of people bought it since they saw the movie, searched for a game, and downloaded the cheapest one they could find.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be getting the fighter plane one for sure since I'm a sucker for multiplayer. Will probably pass on any casual games that come out though unless they're good. Lol, I guess that makes sense, but the other games?...It's true that Doodle God was once very high on the charts, not this high, but that was months ago. Just recently, this week, it jumped all the way up the charts, bringing Doodle Devil with it..not to mention the last update was in March as well..lol. It's not a big deal anyways. Just wanted to know what's out tomorrow and added the rest for whatever reason.
Just finshed Ashpalt 6, wicked game. Is Fast & Furious 5 just more of the same with some new tracks and "Split/Second" explosions on top?
I just picked up Siege Hero its really cool. Better than Angry Birds, its a much faster pace. If you like games like that, check it out.
