Doomsday II: Legions of Hell just released an update with tons of new levels. If you like first person shooters are get nostalgic for Id Software's Doom this is a must get for $0.99.
Monopoly (original version) or the newer one? They are both on sale for .99, and I don't know which one to get. Is there any difference at all apart from one having the classic properties? Which do you recommend? Thanks in advance
How did I know that would happen? Hey backtothis, what do you think of Mission Europa? I've loved everything you've recommended, and you have practically every iOS game ever!
Lar: Children of Pandora impressions suggest it's a good but not great action RPG. Get it if you need a KRPG fix and have already played recent genre entries (like Wild Frontier) but for a casual action RPG kick there are better games. I found it to be a little unpolished (fast moving character, can't enter buildings, some ackward button positioning) but worth a spin for KRPG fans. More comments from others in the main game thread. Edit: Oddly I found this free version of LAR with description in all Korean (?), you might check it out to sample.
I've never played Carcassonne but have found Mission Europa to be worthy. These seem like drastically different games I can't imagine their be much point in direct comparison.
They're both worth it. Chances are you favor one genre over the other, so I'd go with your favorite one. Carcassonne is a relaxing, extremely polished board game, and Mission Europa is a hectic, time draining FPS. I've put several hours into Carcassonne, and almost 2,000 minutes into ME, but honestly, they both got boring to me. I played them like crazy at first, but then less and less over time. I'm too addicted to playing the best and the newest games to really stick with more than a handful over time.
Hahah, you reposted this again. In any case, I can't help you out this time. I don't really feel like talking about ME anymore. You can find enough discussion of the game around TA without me adding anymore to the topic. I guess if you have money to spend, just get it and try it out. Get the standard edition if you have to. You're either going to love the game, or you're going to hate it. There's really no middle ground for this one. Carcassonne has been acknowledged as the best iOS board game by every single major iOS forum. I think that's quite an achievement. If you can find some friends to play it with, so the better. Even if you don't, playing with some strangers online is still good fun. If you don't have Mushihimesama Bug Panic, Gangstar 2, or Perfect Cell yet, these are currently the best three games you can get for a dollar each. Not sure how you like shmups, but I think CAVE's games are some definite buys. You don't need to get both of their shooters, but at least grab one of them. They outrank everything in the genre by so much. Also, Lightning Fighter is $0.99 currently. In the other thread about CAVE shooters, there a bunch of guys saying the game is even better than CAVE's shmups. Downloading it now to see what they're talking about.
Bug heroes has so much more variety and content. The graphics are great, as well as the concept. It's fun and quirky, and very well made!
Bug Panic and Bug Heroes are both well respected dual stick shooters. Bug Panic is 80% off as part of a first time Cave sale this week; Bug Heroes is full price so you can always get it later for same... any questions?
