Get both! They're amazing in different ways. If you can, snag both asap! RWK: Long levels Bosses Level editor w/ online community to come Cute objective and cartoony graphics Tight controls LoE: Short and sweet platforming challenges Hundreds more levels than RWK Three star rating system+hidden objects in every stage The Blocks Cometh-themed levels Retro style (music and graphics are great) Tight controls Decapitations! OK, maybe LoE is a little better, but you should still download both of them RIGHT MEOW!!! /cheesy pun
I only have six bucks left in my account. I NEED to get Death Rally when it comes out, and I might be able to get more iTunes credit before World of Goo. Is Kami Retro good enough to spend a precious 99 cents on, or could I wait for when it's on sale again?
Should I give point and click adventure games another go ? My first point and click adventure game is The Secret of Monkey Island . I fell asleep in like 10 minutes while playing that one . if I don't like that one (heard it's pretty good) , would I still like that genre ?
Okay . at least I know which genre to avoid now . I was hoping there would be a funnier / more humorous games in that genre to make me like it . But nevermind ! Thanks
Personally I prefer Robot Wants Kitty because the micro-levels of League of Evil seem akward (but once I played it I understood the high score chase aspect and they're fun to reply). Both are quality.
If you haven't gotten Starfront yet, get out of this forum and download it NOW!!!! I need the competition in multiplayer!
These are two good games. Given their low price, popularity and fun factor, I nabbed both. Okay, they are both platform games, but they're different enough to warrant getting both. LoE developers are now talking about making a level editor too, so both games will have level editors and level sharing; and therefore, plenty of levels. You won't be disappointed.
I don't like monkey island, but I like other adventure games. There's a thread on touch arcade that lists all "adventure games". Some of them have lite versions, so you can check them out. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=41704
Just got an ipad2. I've had an iPhone for a while with all the necessary games, so what uniquely iPad games are out there that are must buys? I have World of Goo and Superbrothers.
