IMHO, its probably a 9 out of 10. The art is beautiful and the gameplay includes different worlds (desert, forest, etc.) so it doesn't get old. Plus, theres an endless mode. But, if you're not good at micro-management, then I guess it might not be for you.
Does anyone think Illusion Labs might ever have a sale? I'm on the fence with Labyrinth and Touchgrind.
Labyrinth 1 or 2? Get two no matter what, it's a must have for any iDevice. I don't have TouchGrind so I can't speak for that. I doubt they'd have a sale except for around this holiday, which is too long to wait. Any new 99ยข games worth buying, I need some suggestions.
Getting an iPad 2 tomorrow :].. I have all the good universal titles of course. Going to grab World of Goo, Infinity Field, TTL HD, and Fruit Ninja HD as soon as I have it. What are some other must-haves for the iPad. Definitely don't want any games that are exact replicas of the iPod Touch version though, heheh. Are there actually any other good iPad only games. Thanks!
Save some money for 'Sword and Sworcery'. Ipad version eta is 20 March. Vegas Towers (IPad) came out today and is free. It's like Sim Tower / Yoot Tower.
All I can say after a few battles is "wow." The whole game is polished, and I love all of the effects as you scroll across the battlefield. I was about to give up until they introduced the buttons that make the troops all advance, defend, or retreat. I've only played a few battles, but this game is already rocketing towards my top ten folder. Thanks so much for the suggestion you made a couple weeks back, as I never would've heard about it if you hadn't recommended it. And if you're still in contact with the devs, please suggest to them making an HD mac app version, since I'd hate to waste that artistic talent on my crappy 3 inch non-retina screen. Thanks for the suggestion as well as for reading the above novel. (P.S. I'll pretty much buy everything you recommend from now on.)
Anything good right now for .99? I was thinking about getting dungeon hunter but i don't have room for another massive gameloft game that i probably wouldn't play much anyway.
Meow Meow Happy Fight and Legendary Wars are great and on sale. Some great games that are always a buck are Hook Worlds, Monster Dash, Fragger, 6th Planet, Zombie Highway, Collision Effect, Helsing's Fire, Karoshi, and Slice It. These are all good games, get whichever one seems most interesting to you first. That is all.
Not into TD's, dual stick shooters and i'm burnt out on endless style games. But i don't have 6th planet, Helsing's Fire, Slice it or Collision effect so i'll definitely look at those. Thanks.
Legendary Wars, which is on sale for 99c. Great art, great presentation, but I was a little reluctant 'cause it looked too involved, but it's manageable for me. It may not be for everyone, but I recommend it based on what I've played so far.
