I'm out of iTunes credit, but should Collision Effect be on my radar? Not many reviews for it are live yet.
Star Battalion is definitely worth a buck- VERY fun at times, but at its worst it can be kind of 'meh'.
Which two 99c games of the following should I get? Are there any I should take off of my wish list? Infinight Run Like Hell Deluxe Collision Effect Trenches Cover Orange Volcano Escape Pix'n Love Rush
Trenches stands out the most for me. It has many awesome game modes plus a killer multiplayer over Game Center. The other games are actually all pretty decent, but they're all relatively the same amount of fun for me so it's hard to pick xP. I personally didn't like RLH or Volcano Escape that much.
I would definitely say hit the Buy button for Collision Effect right now. Such an amazing game. And I'd say gor for Run Like Hell to. IMO, its the best endless runner on the appstore. I don't have Pix'n Love Rush, but I've heard lots of good reviews for it. Skip on Volcano Escape. Don't have Infinight. And Cover Orange and Trenches are just okay.
I've tried the multiplayer and it seems nobody is ever online for me. So i can't say i recommend the game.
Hm, I must be pretty out of date then, heheh. I used to play online tons when it was in the top charts a few weeks ago, and there was always a game found instantly. I'd say definitely grab Collision Effect then plus another game.
From my experience get Infinight and Volcano Escape... together that should give you a diverse set. From the reviews Pix'n Love Rush and Trenches are good (but I haven't played them yet). Blasphemy! (Sure it's Volcano Escape is perfect but the mechanics are fun, although it could be more fully fleshed). Some say it lags but I haven't seen that. Yes, Infinight is good... I took a chance and downloaded on hype but was surprised this one stacks up. Here's a link to the Infinight thread for impressions.
Infinight is amazing. it's a simple puzzle-esque game, but the enviornment and subtle story telling makes the game stand out. I love it!
I'm one of the people who are experiencing lag. Its ashame because it looked really good to. I just didn't want to recommend it because I don't know if he would experience lag or not.
Thanks for all of the replies, guys! My Appshopper wishlist is a little smaller and I've got Infinight to try out. I skipped Volcano Escape because of all of the mixed feelings. Edit: I will probably pick up Collision Effect as well, once TA and Appspy review it.
I'm looking for a game that's somewhat recent and has an active online multiplayer community like NOVA 2's and MC2. I'm not looking for a specific genre, just anything that has a good online gameplay. Thanks
