Definitely Tiny Wings. Theres also Legendary Wars and League of Evil. Or you could save your money for Mission Europa.
first post, awesome site, so glad i found it. i've had my iphone for awhile but dont really have many games, i'm kind of a stickler when it comes to paid games/apps. the paid apps i have are ones that i feel confident are really really good. for instance, angry birds and doodle jump, whenever i consistently looked for top 10 iphone game lists, those appeared, so felt good in getting them. also bought nba jam about a week ago, other than that mainly free apps (non games) and words with friends which is free. finding this site though has opened my eyes to a lot of other games. my question is, what are the best "cartoony character" type games. not sure thats the best way to word it', but for example, i ran into minigore/pocket god online, those characters are "cartoony" also looked into trenches which seems to be highly regarded. think theres a zombie one called stenches too. basically games like that. i have read minigore is very short and doesnt have much replay value, same with pocket god, so i fear those might not be good for me. trenches i read added multiplayer so that sounds like it could have some major replay value. bugs heroes seems intriguing too which i found through this site, thinking of picking that up too. but yea, anyone have any recommendations? i think the thing that attracts me to those "cartoony character" games is that they tend to be visually really nicely done. more so than even like EA games like madden and such. appreciate any feedback. thanks.
For brilliant cartoony games get Ninjatown trees of doom and all of the JELLYCAR series. Number 1 is free, and the others are 59p. Of all of them JELLYCAR 3 is definitely the best though
Trust me, it's well worth the wait. I got to beta about half of the game (I ended up dropping out halfway through because of some really big personal stuff), but it's a HUGE improvement over Necromancer Rising, which was amazing to begin with. That said, I think I might pass on buying stuff for now... I need to save up for Gundam Fighting Spirits (it should be coming soon... It's been showing up in search suggestions in the app store for a few days now), Mission Europa, and Rainbow Six.
There aren't terrible, but they both get old quick. They are worth it while they last. Plus you can always count on Pocket God for good updates to keep you playing every. Minigore is funny but i just don't like dual stick shooters in general.
I recently found a great game: Jubeat plus. It is free with dlc. Alas it is only in the jap store only. Whoever is looking for a new game and don't mind the trouble getting a jap account, should try it out.. It comes with 3 songs and has been been recently updated to universal version.
I still enjoy giving Minigore a spin now and again... it's a one trick pony with minimal content but what's there is polished and there are a lot of unlockable characters. It's definitely worth $0.99.
This + bug heroes + tilt to live + Jet car stunts + Game Dev story + karosi = WWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
The DLC pack on Peggle is great - get it. If you're still not sure, you can try out Peggle Nights by joining PopCap's Passport program and gifting it to yourself for free.
