Hopefully someone can answer this... anyways, does anyone know how great Music Studio is? I was just looking at it, and realized that my quest for a music-creating app could be complete, as long as it has loops and really catchy beats. Does anyone know what this app does?
It's awesome. I don't use it as often as I'd like (mostly cuz I get distracted by all my games ), but it's very well done. Selection of instruments is a bit small, but you can buy more as IAP (I haven't done it yet, but I've considered it). And no, it doesn't have loops or pre-recorded beats (it does have rhythm instruments, but they're played on the keyboard - no drum pads). It does have some demo songs, but they're not really intended as foundations for larger songs I think. Music Studio is really a simplified version of GarageBand for iPhone - ideally intended for music sequencing/composition. However, you may want to check out Beatmaker 2 - it just came out and looks amazing. I have the first one and was disappointed in its sequencing abilities for music (or lack thereof), but this new version looks like it takes care of all of that. BM2 has everything - drumpads, keyboard, lots of instruments as well as sequences/loops, an effect rack, sampling, and more. So now I'm torn - whether to continue using MS or spend the $20 on BM2.
While we discuss random music apps on a gaming site, does anyone know if the Tap DJ that's been rocketing up the charts is any good?
I just got a $15 card and I really just don't know what to get. The only game I am saving up for is Ghost Recon, so a list of good games worth $8 would be great.
I want to get starfront collusion . Afraid dad might not be happy lol . But from what I've seen from reviews and posts in their thread , it seems like an awesome game .
ANyone think NBA Jam is going to be on sale because of allstar weekend? P.S I know its worth the price right now but would suck to buy now and few hrs later it go on sale.
OK, after buying and ignoring Chopper for more than a year -- I was turned off initially by the graphics -- I decided to play it again and I'm hooked! I got others to buy it, too. Reminds me of choplifter on the Apple IIe and I really like the controls and shooting is a lot of fun. So, any other recommended games similar to Chopper? It can be a choplifter clone or general shoot-em type game, or even just a game that uses the accelerometer/gyroscope well. I'm going to buy chopper 2 next.
It's hard to make suggestions without knowing your preferences. Perhaps you should mention what type of games you prefer ...or give an example of a game you like. Otherwise I'll recommend a chess game for you! Without knowing your interests, I recommend: - Puzzle Quest 2 - Space Miner - Edge These three games will provide many HOURS of fun.
