Definately "The 7th Guest" by Trilobyte, if you are able to understand and honor the uniqueness of early 1990 FMV adventure games. There are definately some annoyances for younger gamers, as this game contains maze puzzles, which were quite popular back then, aswell as at least one very very mean word puzzle (Soup Can Puzzle). It´s fun looking back to it, but who the hell invested his or her braincells to create this meanie? But there is a In Game Hintbook and the game is even able to solve the puzzle for you, in case you are really stumped beyond recognition.
It was just a picture on the back of a sign that showed 13-12 and a golden egg. There is a golden egg on that level if you shoot the white bird backwards.
I'd really say grab all of them when you get the chance. They're all so different and truly excellent games.
